Chapter 15: There's no time

Third Person's P.O.V.

*Two days later*

Things on Land of the Dawn are going smoothly. Celestine was given the Role "Head of Healing Department", evidently meaning that she has all the authority in the Healing Department. For now, she's the only member, but sooner or later, her life will be busy as an ant. Kidding.

Yalden, of course, had to start constructing structures. He started at creating, of course, the building of the Healing Department. He was now finishing the design and was about to give it Torii and ask him if his design is acceptable.

Celestine and Klyde? Remember when the both of them started a fight because of "something"? They didn't get some punishment. Rather, Torii just let it slide. Or did he? Apparently, Torii is ignoring the two of them.

"S-Sire?" Celestine asked, coaxing Torii to forgive her for saying something that slightly hurt Torii. They were in the basement.

Torii was walking whilst checking all the bookshelves. Torii always knew that all of it was organized alphabetically since she checked all of it like a billion times already, however, since he was... anyways, Celestine, who was desperate on getting Torii's attention, was worried about her whole life.

Never in her life, she thought that she will wheedle someone to forgive her and a guy on top of that. As someone who had all the attention of the boys upon her, she was both scared and humiliated. However, whenever Torii ignored her, the more scared she became, and the humiliation soon turned to nothing at all, like it never ceased to exist.

"Look, I'm really sorry. Please forgive me. Pweaty pwease?" Celestine looked at Torii with puppy eyes and a seductive pose, and Torii looked at her. Torii soon walked to her slowly while letting out a small smile. 'I thought he's different from other boys. I guess even the great Torii will bow to my body." Celestine thought to herself, thinking highly of herself.

When Torii was near her, she smiled and then closed her eyes. However, a few seconds have passed but nothing happened to her. When she opened her eyes, Torii was nowhere to be seen. She looked at her back, and to her surprise, Torii took a sheet of paper from one of the sections of a bookshelf and then smiled even more.

"T-Torii, I know I shouldn't have said what I have said. I'm really sorry. Can you please forgive me?" Klyde asked Torii politely.

He and Torii were outside. Klyde followed Torii who was strolling outside. The moment Klyde found an opportunity to talk to him, he immediately grabbed it and spoke to him. However, as expected, Torii ignored him as if Klyde was talking to the air.

Klyde never thought that Torii was sulky because Torii never did that to him. They were always on good terms, and even though Klyde sometimes likes to piss Torii, Torii doesn't take it to his heart and instead fights back.

Now, Klyde was scared to death, both because he can't live without him talking to Torii at least once a day, as well as because he can't live on his own. To e precise, he can't live properly without Torii having to tell him what to do.

Let me clarify what I just said. Klyde lets Torii tell him what to do because he thought that Torii's plans were way more perfect and accurate in every situation. Due to this, he became dependent on Torii, which is why Torii is trying to ignore them. The same goes for Celestine. Both of them don't trust themselves, however, Torii thinks just the opposite.

*At 12 a.m., 5 days after the Fall *

"Amelie. Amelie. Wake up." Torii whispered to Celestine who was lying in her bed, sleeping peacefully.

Amelie opened her eyes, seeing both Torii and Yalden's faces. They were both wearing the exact same outfit, which was a pitch-black hoodie tucked in pitch-black pants. They were both wearing black masks, but it wasn't covering their faces as it was pulled down in their chins.

"The One!" Amelie shouted, which made Torii look at him blankly. "I-I'm really sorry," Amelie whispered back. She sat down, fixing her hair to not ruin their conversation.

"It's fine as long as you don't call me the one," Torii said, which made Amelie nod awkwardly. "Wear this. We'll be doing something." Torii said, giving her the same outfit as theirs, as well black shoes and a black face mask as well.

Celestine quickly noticed the mood and went straight into the bathroom, changed her outfit, and then went back. Torii nodded, and Yalden went in the window, opened it, and then slid. Amelie was surprised, but she didn't hesitate and walked towards the window.

There she saw a wooden slide connected from the very bottom of the window to the ground. She smiled and then slid. Torii was next and it didn't take that much of a time until all of them was below.

"May I ask where is Mr. Klyde and Ms. Celestine? I don't think I have seen them." Amelie asked. Torii stood up the moment his feet touched the ground.

His pinky finger -- which was attached to the slide -- sucked all of the wooden slide like it was a strip of noodle. A few seconds later, and all of it was like it was never there. He smiled and looked at Celestine, who was both curious where Klyde and Celestine were as well as the power of Torii.

"Them? It's because--" Before Yalden could finish his speech, Torii interrupted him.

"Do you want to know why?" Torii asked.

"Can I, Mr. Torii?" Celestine asked politely.

Silence filled the entire area, which made Celestine think that she should never have said those words. All of it was, of course, nonsense, because Torii was thinking just the opposite.

"SIR TORII!!" A loud sound coming from the third floor caught all of their attention. That made Torii and Yalden look at each other. Torii grabbed Amelie's hand, and both of them looked at each other. Amelie blushed.

"There's no time. I'll explain it to you later."
