A New Day

By the time that we had managed to get out of the bath, Crima and I were drained but content, and the second we dressed and exited the bathroom, we were greeted with lustful stares and a blushing Clara, who was doing her best to not rub her thighs together.

For now though, we still need to plant the herbs, and we have a few seeds ready for that.

Hannah, you and I will be tending to the majority of the crops together, so we'll be going around watering and pruning what we need to, and we'll also be harvesting everything when the time comes. Currently the potatoes are ready, and the corn and wheat should be ready in a day or two.

Lucille, you'll be refining our yields whenever we get them, but until that time you'll work with Crima around the Ranch doing whatever else needs to get done. I think the compost bin is going to need to be tended to, and there's also some various projects around that will need to be done. There are a few boulders around that need to be cracked, and eventually I want to get some Surplus Trees planted that we can harvest for our own lumber..."

Taking another breath, I looked around at the four Demi Human's and smiled as I said "It's going to be a lot of work, and it's going to be hard work, but I know you can manage, and just know that everything we grow will find its way onto someones table somewhere, and it will be on our table. Additionally, we can use our good quality crops to trade with nearby Ranchers for things that we can't grow, or things that we aren't growing at the moment."

"Mistress, we aren't planning on having an entirely crop oriented diet, are we? I am not a carnivore, but I would appreciate some meat in our meals going forwards..."

I nodded at Lucille and replied "We aren't, no, but for now we aren't capable of heading out to hunt. After Crima and I recuperate and are up to it, we can go hunting again and stock up on a larger quantity of meat. Until then though... yes, we are on a bread and corn diet, though I have a few of those ration packets to use as well! So we won't be going hungry, and we will be getting the nutrients we need. Any other questions?"

Everyone shook their heads, so I turned back towards the fields and said "Let's get to work then!", excitement creeping in as we set out to do our assigned tasks.
