Having his wife constantly pound his chest with a plea, the husband gained some clarity of mind.

The image of the love of his life reflected fully into his raging iris, a tinge of helplessness sparked through them.

However, he didn't stop. Rather, he sent her a soul transmission message saying, "The Divine One unconditionally saved our lives, unconditionally provided us shelter, unconditionally allowed our children to grow with peace of mind. I may not be the strongest father there is, nor may I be a father who is strong enough to always protect his family. But, if this catastrophe was to pass calmly, I don't want my children to remember me as a father who doesn't know gratitude or how to repay graciousness. I don't want them to grow with the image of a father who cowers in fear facing danger."

Once he finished speaking here, a resolute light flashed through his eyes.
