4 Hello again, Lady

The metal doors of the forest opened and Alex stepped forwards into the pen, "Lady! It's me! Lady!"

"Lady? Why are you calling for lady?"

"That is her name, the name I call her."

"Her? Her name? What do you mean?" Julie asked, looking completely confused.

"When I took care of her, I gave her a name."

"How did she approach you?"

"Called being kind, but she isn't coming," He sighed, "I have an idea."

"Go ahead, what is it?"

"Go to the camera room, watch me, but I think she is scared of you two."

"You think? Here, take this," He tossed him the rifle and then they both walked out of the pen, "You sure about this?"

"Yeah, let me do this," He turned and looked into the forest, "Lady! I am here! Lady!" He called and then heard a twig snap, "Is that you, Lady?" He felt something breathing in front of him, "It is me, Lady, remember?" He heard a shriek, "Yes, it is me, I am working here now," He saw her figure appear in front of him, "Hello Lady," She closed her eyes and smiled at him as she sat like a dog, "How are you?" She pushed her head against him and nearly knocked him over, "You have gotten stronger," She noticed the rifle then hopped back and growled at him, "Lady, no, I am not going to use this, trust me, please, like you did before," He kicked the rifle aside, "Remember, I wanted to protect you," She shrieked and then darted into the forest, "You want me to follow you? Okay then," He began running after her, but soon lost her in her forest, "Lady! You know I am slower than you," He turned around and saw her hanging from a branch by her feet with her head right next to him, "Jesus, Lady, don't scare me," She shrieked again, "Up there? What is up there?" She picked him up and lifted him into the tree, "This is a big tree, is this where you have been staying?" She nodded and then moved a sheet of bark and revealed a small den, "You hide here?" She nodded again, "I guess you dug this out yourself," He sat down on the large branch as she lay down near him, "Do you like the food they give you?" She made a disgusted face and spat at the floor, "I guess not, I'll make sure you get the right food, how does that sound?" She smiled as her four long feathers propped up, "Wait, stay still, let me see something," He got up and moved to her side before tapping her arm for her to lift it, "You are hurt," Lady said nothing, "What happened?" She shrieked twice, "I don't understand, a big box? A cage? When you got here?" She nodded, "And it hasn't healed because of you moving it, oh, that sucks, I am sorry," She pushed him with her head and put her arm down, "Do you want me to stitch it?" She looked at him weirdly and tilted her head, "Yeah, like this," He pulled down his shirt and reveal a large scar on his shoulder and arm, "See?" She smelled the scar and tilted her head, "You did this, but you see, not painful now," She looked at the ground and her feathers in her green hair drooped, "I am fine now, I am not mad," She looked up at him like a sad puppy, "I am fine, really, you see?" He moved his arm and she smiled once more, "Do you want the same?" She blinked at him without giving him an answer, "Doesn't help."
