Chapter 08

When we arrived at the village, I straightly head to Tianna, the first woman i've known here in the village.

"Tianna?" I called.

"Lynxianna?! You're here!"

I didn't saw her, but clearly heard her voice.

Where did that came from?

"Look up!" She shouted.

When I looked up, she was hanging in some shelf, feeling confused, I ask.

"Why are you there?!" I shouted.

She was struggling, "I am cleaning something above here, I do all the work so I have a lot of money from doing this!" She shouted.

I laugh and took a sit.

"Just get yourself a coffee there, you can do anything you want." She said, permitting me to go near the work place.

I started making myself a coffee, and a juice for Tianna, out of consideration.

When she starts to go down, I ask her again.

"Are you the woman that Dion reffered?" I curiously ask.

A sudden noise were heard.

"A-ARE YOU OKAY?!" I shouted, running towards to where Tianna fell.

"Y-Yeah, I'm completely fine but my butt hurt a lot from falling." She responded.

"It's good to hear that you're okay." I replied.

"Anyway, why did you suddenly ask me that question? It's really weird." She said.

"Dion told me earlier at dawn when we were talking that he liked someone who's near but also far from him." I replied.

Instead of reacting, she just laugh so hard.

'Did I say something wrong? why is she laughing...?'

"Haha a-anyways, no I'm not. I actually agree that the woman he's talking about is near but also far. Just put in your mind that no one here is being pursue by Mr.Claud, he is and will always be loyal to Ms.Whosoever she is." She explain, at the same time having a difficulty breathing after laughing so hard.

I just nodded my head as a sign of response, nonetheless I keep drinking the coffee I made because the ingredient's quality is a high quality.

"What about you? Do you have someone you like?" I ask.

She shook her head, "Unfortunately, No. I'm waiting though I'm not sure if I'm worth to pursue." She bitterly smiled at me, as if she was envious of me. It's like she's saying that don't lose what I have right now or something like that.

There's no reason for her to be envy, I also don't have someone like that no.

While we keep talking, Zak and his companions were seen in the window, roleplaying I guess.

But their face says that they're having some difficulties, at the same time Zak look at my direction and his face lighten up when he saw me.

What's this kid planning to do now?

Zak run as fast as he could to approach me, and when he finally did, he was having difficulty breathing.

"Who told you to run like that? It's not like I'm going to hide nor run from you." I said, giving him some water and wipe his sweat.

When he finally calmed down, He started talking as if it's really important.

"Listen Sister Xian, You need to help us." He muttered.

Feeling confused, "What do you mean? Explain it to me slowly and clearly, Zak." I responded.

He sighs, "So we're actually role playing and we need a bride and groom. I was the groom but no one was willing to become my bride, so I had to find one." He explained.

When I heard his reason, I immediately closed my eyes. No, Zak. Don't do this to me.

"So you want—"

"Yes, I want you to become my bride!" He said, delightedly.

Without even hearing me refuse, he immediately drag me from my seat and Tianna was just laughing on the other side, not helping me escape.

"Goodluck, Ms.Bride!" She cheered me up.

I shook my head, and let out a sigh.

"See? It was a wrong choice for you to pick me, I'm a grown up Zak." I said.

The situation goes like this. We were about to start, but I am having a difficulty because his hands are too short and it doesn't even match mine so I'm walking like a granny who was a back problem.

"If I wouldn't become the groom, then who else?!" He shouted, annoyingly.

Steps.Steps.Steps.

"Ahem, Mind you if I join?"

We all turned our backs and saw this tall man, perfect to play as the groom.

"Dion? Aren't you busy?" I ask.

He laugh, "Of course I am. That's why I'm here at my shop, but I see that you're having some difficulties." He said.

I nodded my head and avoided his gaze, I was embarrassed because I am acting like a child right now.

"Perfect timing!! You should be the groom, Brother!" Zak shouted.

"Sure, My dear commanding little brother. I"ll do as you say." He said.

"W-WAIT! YOU TWO ARE BROTHERS?!" I shouted, due to the extreme news I've heard.

"They sure are. They both have the same face if you look at it, you know." Tianna appeared.

W-Wow, what a twist.

After all the chaos, we finally settled down.

"Bride enter!" Zak signaled.

When he said that, I started walking while staring to the man who's currently in my front.

It's just a roleplay, but why does it feels like something? and the way how natural Dion is acting is very shocking. To think he can act naturally anytime is sick.

He was smiling, looking at me.

It's as if the world within him is revolving on me.

"Why are you staring like that?" I ask as I reached the aisle.

He smiled, "Is there something wrong? You're beautiful." He responded.

I raised my brows when he told me that word but nonetheless, we continued the play.

"You may kiss the bride!" Zak excitingly said.

We were both hesitating but what Dion did was really good. He pretended to kiss me while his fingers are lock between our lips.

Why does this scene feels so magical? feels so true? I don't even hold a thing called 'feelings' towards him.

"I'm sorry for doing this, Lynn." He whispered through my ears.

I nodded my head and gave him a smile, signifying that it was fine.

When the play ended, the three of us let out a long exhausting sigh.

"Even just looking at what you two did was so hurtful in the eyes, what's more is the way Zak commanded things to do." Tianna said.

"Agree. I bet he would become a wedding something worker when he grow up." I responded.

"I don't even know where he got that talent. It's ultra shocking especially since he is still a kid who's not even in his 10s." Dion replied.

As we were both sitting in the side of the road, A man carrying some drinks appeared.

"Drinks, Here's a drinks. Do you want to buy it?" The guy said.

I rolled my eye, "You, Do you want to gain another broken bone? come to think of it, it's been long since you recieved the last one." I said to Manuel.

"Tsk, I'm just kidding. Here, for the three of you." He said, handing us a cold drink one after another.

"Thanks." The three of us said, he just smiled and proceed on walking carrying a lot of things.

It's as if he is a seller who's eager to earn money.
