The City Of Love

Before this starts. Just wanted to clear a few things up for those that are confused. Karma is indeed younger than the characters of KNB, he is 8 and they are around 12 to 13 at the current time. As for pairings with him, that is why I am adding Ro-Kyu-Bu as a side anime alongside KNB.

As for your questions as to how he will be participating in the games with the GOM and such, that had already been solved with a simple method. The method may prove illogical to some of you when you read it, but I apologise if you don't agree with it. It is anime -_-

Nothing logical happens in there.

If you have any complaints, it will be much appreciated if you hold them to yourselves. If it's a book ruiner for you, then please just leave the book behind calmly without needing to vent your annoyance to what I decide.

Finally, this will most likely not be a harem story anymore. Probably two or three pairings with Karma, most likely just one or two though. They've already been decided.

Karma was bored.

He was currently stuck sitting on the plane heading towards France, more specifically, towards the massive city of Paris. He wasn't sure what business his parents had here, but at least he would try to entertain himself.

He was currently looking out the window as he spun a basketball around on his finger. It was a miracle that it didn't fall off considering the small amount of shaking from the plane.

His parents had told him that they had something fun planned for him while they were busy. Thy said he was definitely going to enjoy it, whatever it was going to end up being.

He would be lying if he said he wasn't interested.

'Man, I hope these next three months won't bore the heck out of me...'

Karma sighed as he stopped spinning the ball as he flicked it up before catching it. He looked to his side to see his parents sleeping. He could understand why they were despite it being the morning right now.

Apparently they were going to be working over night for the first day in Paris. So, he was going to be on his own at the house. They knew he was mature enough to do so, he really didn't care.

Karma then decided to pass the remaining few hours watching basketball as he turned on the seat TV screen before searching up for anything related to basketball.

Thankfully, this seemed to allow access to YouTube, very nice.

'Why didn't they have this back in my old world...?'

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few hours, being a total of three, had passed by as Karma's plane had landed in the airport as all of the passengers all exited the aircraft and into the building.

Karma took in a big lung-full of air before stretching as his limbs were finally free. He could swear that his body was going to lock if he didn't get some movement in.

He placed his bag down on one of the seats as he saw his parents off to the side near the phones calling over a cab or something.

Taking out his phone, he decided to do the thing every single person usually does when they go over seas or something. Take hundreds of damn pictures to remember.

This was only the airport, but whatevs.

"Hm?"

Karma blinked when he heard the sound which he found very familiar. The bouncing of a ball.

Turning his head, he looked to see that a basketball was bouncing over towards him. He blinked before placing away his phone as he easily caught the ball in his free hand that wasn't holding his own ball.

"Bonjour. Merci d'avoir reçu la balle. [Hello. Thank you for getting the ball]."

"Eh?" Karma looked up after catching the ball after he heard the voice. As he did, he came into view of a girl his age that held a somewhat blank look as she walked up to him. He was a few centimetres taller.

The girl wore a simple black dress with a pair of long white socks and black shoes. She had decently long silver long straight hair and a pair of cyan eyes. Her skin was also very pale, though not the unhealthy kind.

He stared at her for a second, she honestly looked like one of those dolls. At least not the damn creepy kind.

"I apologise. You must not understand me..."

Karma listened as the girl said this in a rather monotone voice. She was trying to speak Japanese, though was struggling quite a bit to pronounce her words.

"Ne vous inquiétez pas. Je peux très bien parler français. [Don't worry. I can speak French just fine]."

Karma chuckled a bit as he did manage to somewhat understand what she was saying. The girl appeared surprised as she heard him speak fluent French.

Karma then handed the ball to her.

"Je vois. Merci... [I-I see. Thank you...]."

"Aucun problème. Je m'appelle Karma Hajime, ravi de vous rencontrer. [No problem at all. My name is Karma Hajime, nice to meet you]."

Karma extended his hand out as the girl nodded and accepted the gesture as she shook hands with Karma. She then decided to introduce herself as well.

"Je suis Mimi Balguerie. [I am Mimi Balguerie]." The girl, now known as Mimi, took notice of the other ball in Karma's hand. "Jouez-vous au basket-ball? [Do you play basketball]."

"Oui, c'est vrai. On peut dire que vous jouez aussi, non? [Yeah, I do. It's safe to say you play as well, right?]."

"Mm. J'ai commencé à apprendre à Hawaii, je viens de revenir. [Mm. I only started learning in Hawaii, I just came back]."

"Oh, ça a dû être bien. Je suis en visite en France pour les trois prochains mois, les parents ont des affaires ici. [Oh, that must have been nice. I'm visiting France for the next three months, parents have business here]."

"Karma!"

"Oh, ça ma mère. Je ferais mieux d'y aller. [Oh, that's my mother. I better get going]." Karma voiced as he heard his mother calling out. "Je vous verrai peut-être une autre fois. Au revoir! [Perhaps I'll see you some other time. Goodbye]."

"A-Au Revoir! [G-Goodbye]."

Mimi watched as Karma quickly grabbed his bag before giving a small wave along with a soft smile as he ran over towards his parents that were waiting for him to the side.

Seeing the smile, a small bit of red went easily noticed on her pale skin as she just watched silently as he ran off.

She stopped though when an older female voice called out to her. Knocking her out of her trance as she flinched slightly.

"Mimi!"

"J-J'arrive! [I-I'm coming]."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When they exited the airport, they didn't wait long before a cab arrived at their location. Hopping in, his parents told the driver to take them to the hotel they were going to be staying at.

When they arrived, Karma couldn't help but marvel as he saw the sheer size of the building along with how expensive it looked. Just how expensive and popular was this place?

He looked around to see that there were a bunch of people around, a lot of wealthy looking people if he was honest. He felt out of place since he didn't wear anything extravagant, though he preferred casual clothing.

They walked in, and he felt a cool air conditioned breeze brush his face as the lobby area was mainly white with gold and silver, probably fake solver and gold, or maybe not. He didn't know.

The place looked rich!

"Excusez-moi. J'ai réservé une chambre ici pour ma famille. Je m'appelle Kojuro Hajime. [Excuse me. I booked a room here for my family. My name is Kojuro Hajime]."

"Ah~, M. Hajime. Nous vous attendions. [Ah~, Mr. Hajime. We've been expecting you]."

The receptionist voiced as she typed on the computer before handing his father cards, which he assumed were the room keys. Also handing him some kind of brochure or whatever.

"Il suffit de tourner à gauche et de prendre les ascenseurs jusqu'au vingtième étage. Votre chambre de première classe a déjà été préparée pour vous. [Just take a left from here and take the elevators to the twentieth floor. Your First-Class room has already been prepred for you]."

'First-Class, huh?'

Karma had thought to himself. He then took notice of a plaque displaying the room costs of each room type. Such as being Third, Second and First-Class. First-Class being the most expensive.

When he looked at the price, he flinched heavily and his jaw dropped.

'Four-hundred euros per night?! That's like fifty-thousand yen!'

Karma screamed inside his head with utter astonishment. He knew his parents were rich, but he didn't know just how rich they truly were.

If they were going to be staying here for three whole months, then they would be spending around four million six hundred and fifty thousand yen for this hotel alone!

While he knew that it might not be the most expensive hotel out there in the world, the price was still insane in his eyes as he would have been fine with any old hotel as long as it meets living standards.

He was not one who needed luxury.

Though, he won't complain.
