Kronos: Levelling In The World Of Magic

In the pulsating realm of Gaia, where mana flowed through every being like a sweet, enchanting river, Arthur Cumore stood out as the lone exception. In a world ruled by magicians and wizards, he lived freely despite lacking the mystical touch of magic. Cast away by his parents, Arthur embraced a life that forced him into the role of an orphan, a reality he couldn't escape. Devoid of the ability to wield mana, Arthur found himself worth less than the carcass of the lowliest beast, its remains fetching a higher price than his mere existence. Yet, in the face of adversity, his struggles only fueled his determination. As he navigated the twists and turns that could break even the mightiest, Arthur refused to succumb to the lowest point of his life. Unyielding, he pursued the one thing that brought him solace – knowledge of the continent, Agrazeel. In the dynamic tapestry of Agrazeel, a continent drowning in pride, wars, and hierarchies, Arthur defied expectations. He became the first of the homeless, an exceptional status that couldn't be savored for long. Life led him to a temple, a fateful encounter awaiting him with an entity shrouded in mystery: Kronosia, a being above the very Gods and Goddesses of Agrazeel. Thus begins the odyssey of a perceived "trash" that would make even the divine weep tears of blood. In a world of wizards, emperors, and knights, Arthur Cumore's journey unfolds – a journey where he rises from the depths, conquering all, and bringing the mighty to their knees. Amidst the seven wizard towers ruled by the Wizard Kings of the time and seven orders devoted to the seven gods, the Agrazeel continent of Gaia will serve as the stage for Arthur's electrifying conquest. This is not just the story of a man; this is the epic saga of Arthur Cumore, a tale that defies destiny and shakes the very foundations of Gaia.

Killing One's Inner Bitxh

On the Heaven's eye, Arthur observed words that declared the initiation of the moment, the very turning point which he was waiting for.

"Proving my worth." Arthur mumbled as the countdown of heaven's eye had vanished and the one whose recognition he had to attain, Goliath, had started moving.

"Stay right behind me, avoid the path around you; just walk in my shadow instead." Goliath Goggin's ordered Arthur with a commanding tone before picking up his pace.

"YES, SIR!" Arthur replied strongly while nodding his head as he began to follow right behind Goliath, who was going at quite a bearable pace.

"So this is the first trial. It's easier than I thought." While walking in the shadows of Goliath Goggin's, Arthur thought to himself.

He remembered the words of Kronosia since they were already stuck in his mind in the form of acquired knowledge.

The test to prove his worth, in Kronosia's term, was going to be something that Arthur could never imagine.

But this was a speed that even a fatty like him could easily follow.

"This is only the first of the seven trials. This is the first trial, so I shouldn't be complacent. Even though, its just walking behind him." Arthur mumbled and during his mumbling he found Goliath turning around swiftly and passing by him in an instant.

"Wait." Arthur also turned around to follow behind the man just to get a harsh stare down from Goliath.

Remembering what he was told before, Arthur instantly shook his head and let out two words.

"Yes, sir!" Arthur said as Goliath picked up his speed.

The pace of their walking had gotten faster, but it wasn't something that Arthur couldn't follow.

But, the surrounding conditions changed instantly as he started going in this direction.

Before, Goliath was walking towards the tunnel so his shadow was barely on Arthur's side, but now Goliath was walking in the direction of the sun, thus his shadow had enlarged.

Arthur was now literally walking on the shadow of Goliath.

Secondly, the gushing winds that he would have to bear whenever these metallic beasts called cars would pass by him were heavier than before, when he was just standing or going in the opposite direction.

'I see, so this is the first trial.' Arthur felt like he had jinxed himself so he barely let out a smile while taking long strides in the shadow of Goliath.

The time for every one of Goliath's step was perfectly in sync with his every next one.

And, merrily Arthur was following behind with a constant high's and low's as he was yet to reach a level where he was able to set a perfect pace.

Sometimes he would be fast with short strides , other moments, he would be slow with longer strides. But, each of his step had a conviction.

"I can't fall behind." Arthur mumbled as he stayed a step right behind the shadow of Goliath's waist.

Just like that, time passed.

"How much longer is this trial going to last?" Arthur asked with a hint of frustration in his breath as he struggled to inhale.

To him, it felt like the walking was becoming endless and he already felt like the shadow of Goggin's was going to swallow him whole.

"That's already the second time you have gone against me, you little fat fucker." Goliath Goggin's spoke with a harsh tone without even looking at Arthur.

"Ba-dump." As if the harsh word were a remedy, Arthur felt energized.

"It's only been two minutes since I turned around near the tunnel, and you are already crying like dirty pig." Goggin's continued as he stepped on the thirteen year old boy as if the boy was an old enemy that he couldn't kill but slaughtering wasn't out of option.

'A dirty pig?' Arthur never knew that he would be called a dirty pig and that too by someone from another world.

"You are a crying pig!" Goliath declared after handing Arthur an embarrassment that he was unfamiliar with.

'A dirty pig, a crying pig, both are better than being called a trash over seven years, every day, every freaking hour.' Arthur thought to himself as his eyes gained some light.

"Yes sir." Arthur bit his lips and softly said just to see Goliath turning his head just enough to glance at him with his dark eyes.

"The next time you complain, I will pick up my pace." Goliath Goggin's announced to Arthur.

"Yes sir." Arthur replied softly yet again as he was focused more on keeping up with the hardest man of Earth.

'It's just been two minutes, i can't believe it.' Arthur mumbled just to find the shadow he was walking on getting smaller.

Even though the sun's position was the same as before and the direction they were walking towards was unchanged.

'Why is he walking faster than before when I haven't even said anything yet?' Arthur had indeed not made another complain and how could he, as only a few seconds had passed since Goliath had berated him.

"I know what you are thinking, son!"

"Why did Mister Goliath pick up his pace when I haven't even cried like a struggling pig. It's simple. You spoke like a little bitch and I hate them more than pigs." Goliath Goggin's spoke as Arthur was left in a daze.

"A bitch, a pig, i am both if i fall behind. I can do it. You can do it Arthur."

"Thwap." Along with Arthur's voice, a slapping sound was heard by Goliath and as he glanced back, he found four thick finger marks on Arthurs face.

"Hah, he really sent me one good mother fucker." Goliath laughed but Arthur didn't hear the words and even if he did hear them he wouldn't know that this was the epitome of praise that he would get from this world's hardest man.

But, this didn't mean, Arthur had gained the recognition of Goliath.

"Little boy, follow me well cause from now on even a second of faltering will cause you to lose sight of me." Goliath Goggin spoke to Arthur as he pushed out his chest, maintaining his previous pace flawlessly.

"Yes sir!" Arthur loudly shouted with his eyes half closed as he had already lost the part of himself that was complaining like a bitch. His inner bitch had already died, that too in just under two minutes.

And, we haven't even gotten to the part where everyone gonna know

who's gonna carry the boats
