As last year of academy arrived, Ryu while doing his morning training in kenjutsu, thinks about his and Ino's progress, as of now.

Ryu pov

I have completed my goal of training in everything that interests me and working extra hard to polish my talent. I also have switched to gravity seals from resistance seals, as it can not affect my body growth now. My chakra has also grown to mid-genin level along with mid-chunin level of control over it while Ino's chakra has progressed to genin level and with high-chunin level of control over it (because of efficient water walking along with ability to battle on running water).

I have also polished my kenjutsu along with sensei's special technique Dance of Cresent Moon, which is improved comparatively from last year by continuous sparing with Hayate sensei and Yugao-nee. Ino while practised her senbon technique and hebi style to an impressive level, which Nee-chan boasts about proudly, recounting all of it, he came to the conclusion that now he has almost mid-chunin level strength (including all of his skills) while Ino has low- chunin level strength..

Now, I can finally focus on my own special Taijutsu and train it to sufficient level.

For last six months of Academy, Ryu trains in his taijutsu style which he made while remembering the Gentle fist of Hyuga clan, so instead of combining any of the previous styles he focused on the fierceness that he wanted in his taijutsu style. Also Hyugas are known for their taijutsu so he took inspiration from them and created his very own style, calling it Dance of White Wolf.

Dance of White Wolf is the taijutsu style, that focuses on damaging an opponent's internal organs. When in use, the slightly visible chakra swarms around his hands in a seemingly untamed way, making it feel like wolf's claw around his hands, giving it its name. When the chakra makes contact with the opponent's part of the body, it can cause the internal organs to become heavily damaged. Muscles can contract unwillingly and unnaturally, nerves can have the feeling of being stretched out, and bones can be cracked and broken. When utilized properly, the user can destroy internal organs to the point that if inspected with the Byakugan, it would look like the affected areas were "put into a meat grinder." Also he can add his elemental chakra to it for further enhancement making it very deadly.

As the style is too fierce he doesn't use it in weekly spars in academy, only uses it with Anko and Ino. For first time when displayed his taijutsu style, Anko and Ino were in awe of him. Anko muttering damn white haired genius can't let me live a day without shocking me. While Ino was watching him with stars in her eyes, thinking Ryu-kun never ceases to amaze me, not having any clan's backing or parents to teach, still he is here toe to toe with those clan geniuses.

As days passes Ryu improves his taijutsu more and more, he also showed it to Guy sensei and thinking about it made him smile.

Ryu as he finally completed his style goes to Anko first and shows her and Ino, Then he decides to visit Guy sensei and show it to him too as he also gave him some advice regarding taijutsu. So next morning he finds him running around the village and stops him by calling him.

Ryu," Hey Guy sensei, good morning."

Guy," Ahh! Young Ryu very YOUTHFUL good morning to you too my friend so you too are here to FAN YOUR YOUTHFUL FLAMES ehh!"

Ryu," Um ahehe Yes Guy sensei whatever you say, I just wanted to meet you and talk to you about something if you don't mind."

Guy," Of course my youthful friend, let's go to nearest training ground and talk about it."

Ryu and Guy arrives at the training ground and Ryu starts talking to Guy about his new taijutsu style and shows him.

Ryu," Guy sensei thank for the advice on the taijutsu, I have finally made my own style."

Guy,"Ah! Its alright my youthful friend, I just pointed you to the right direction the work was done by you so its all about your hard work young Ryu."

Ryu," Still Guy sensei, as thanks I want to show it to you, if want to see that is."

Guy," Oh thank you for honestly my friend and I would be honored to see it with my own eyes."

Ryu," Look carefully Guy sensei, it is called Dance of White Wolf."

Ryu then shows it off to Guy and Guy is shocked and claps for him for fantastic display while Ryu blushes as he is complemented by Taijutsu genius of Konoha.

Guy," Well well Young Ryu, a very fierce style you got there ehh!"

Hearing this Ryu smiles and thanks him again for guiding him and both parted their ways.

After the morning training with Ino, both gets ready for final day of academy as today is graduation day, as excited as they seem, they are nervous too, no not about passing but about their ninja life as they will be fully-fledged ninja from tomorrow as they will be allotted to a team and jounin sensei.

As for Ino, she knows that she will be teamed up with shikamaru and Choji for legendary Ino-shika-cho line up but for Ryu she is nervous and hopes that he get a good team. As team is very important because until they become chunin they will complete each and every mission together so having a good team with decent teamwork is necessary.

While both thinking about same thing, they arrives at academy gates, taking a deep breath they walk in and with happy smile they enters class room full of chaos about the final examination, even Naruto is excited about it as it is first step towards being a Hokage.

Iruka sensei arrives with papers for theory exams and wishes us to do our best and gives paper to each of the student for written exams.

Time passes, Ryu being ryu, answers every question perfectly and taking less amount of time while Ino also completes it correctly enough and they both hands the paper together with the smile their faces indicating they did pretty good in the written exams.

After everyone hands the paper, its time for practical exams, they are being tested in Clone justu, Tranformation justu and final, substitution jutsu.

After few moments of result, Ryu and Ino passes with flying colors and shows their Konoha Nin headbands and wears it on their forehead with proud. They head out to find Anko, Hayate (Yugao's on ANBU Duty as Ryu knows but doesn't point out) and Ino's parents are waiting for them.

They quickly ran towards them and gives hug and receives congratulations from them.

Anko cries happily that her otouto finally made it, he is legal ninja now, while Hayate is happy too and congratulates by giving him a wooden box saying Yugao's on a mission, she said sorry for not being here. While giving the gift he says that Yugao and he together got a gift for him and to open it when she arrives, Ryu promises to open it in her presence.

Then Anko hugs him too hard to breath as his head is between bountiful mounds of her, after a while pale Ryu is released , he is again handled in such way by Ino's mom, while Hayate and Anko chuckles and says being too cute results into that, while Ino is down right furious with her mother and yells to release her Ryu-kun after realizing of her words she blushes brightly and looks away by seeing the teasing looks given by Anko and her Mother.

After the episode as they are leaving, Ryu watches Naruto sitting alone on swing as he watches parents and his friends with head band while he failed the exam. As Ryu knows that Naruto will definitely pass he turns around on his way with his family.

After celebrating his graduation with his family he heads towards orphanage, he was about to enter, Yugao arrives to congratulate him. She hugs him gently and says softly," Congratulations on your passing Ryu-kun, now you are one step ahead in becoming a strong ninja."

Ryu replies with soft smile," Thank you, Yugao-nee, I missed you, you know."

Yugao," I missed you to Ryu-kun, now lets open the present ok."

Ryu then remembers and brings out the box and opens it. He finds a beautiful black sword made of chakra metal which is very expensive and looks towards Yugao tearfully and hugs her thanking her and Hayate for being so considerate.

Yugao smiles while caressing his hair and says," Its what families do Ryu-kun, I and Hayate-kun consider you as our family so please accept it."

Ryu crying happily," H-hai nee-chan, you and sensei too are my family, thank you so much for accepting me."

From Far Hayate smiles watching the scene, turns around and after some time joined by very happy Yugao.
