Chapter 4 : Training

There are a total of twelve hand seals, namely: rat, ox, tiger, hare, dragon, snake, horse, ram, monkey, bird, dog, boar each seal has a unique hand gesture.

Fang practiced for the first time, only practicing up to the fourth hand seal. His fingers started trembling, by the eighth one, his pinky finger was already slightly cramping, and after completing the last set of twelve exercises, both of his hands were sore and painful, extremely uncomfortable.

After practicing for more than half an hour, Fang's hands started cramping.

"Ouch! It hurts so much!"

But Fang knew he had to persevere. His body was only 6 years old now, with great plasticity. When he got older and his finger bones were formed, practicing would probably be half as effective.

"Continue!"

Gritting his teeth, sweat dripped down his forehead, soaking his chest. He practiced each hand seal one by one, resting when his hands cramped, then continuing. Gradually, as the sun tilted westward, the evening sun dyed the sky red, covering the entire small courtyard in a moment.

Fang's ten fingers were all swollen, and his pinky and ring fingers couldn't even touch each other!

"Huff!"

Fang collapsed onto the green grass in the courtyard, his hands sore and painful... feeling like they should just be amputated!

"Oh right, I wonder if chakra can relieve this soreness."

Fang quickly closed his eyes, channeling the blue chakra in his body slowly to his hands.

It could be seen that a faint blue glow appeared at the fingertips of Fang's hands, exceptionally dreamlike in the sunset.

However, without having learned medical ninjutsu, no matter how he covered his hands and fingers with chakra, he couldn't truly repair the soreness.

"Sigh."

In the midst of his sigh, the carefree Obito suddenly entered.

"Fang, time to make dinner!!!"

Obito face was filled with a happy smile. This afternoon, he helped more than a dozen old grannies cross the street, achieving the achievement of being helpful and feeling very good. He walked lightly, almost becoming immortal.

Then he saw Fang sitting paralyzed on the ground, his two hands like chicken claws, in an irregular shape.

"Damn, that's painful! Let's go!" Fang pulled back his hands, glancing at Obito with disdain, and snorted, "As for dinner, I'll guide you on how to make it."

"What? Why are you like this?" Obito looked depressed, but under Fang dominance, he eventually yielded.

However, this guy's IQ was definitely lacking. Despite Fang's repeated reminders, he still made countless mistakes while cooking. He either forgot to add salt or mistook sugar for MSG, and in the end, he burnt the food.

Scratching his head, Obito looked embarrassed.

"Sigh, at least the rice is cooked."

Fang felt helpless, so he made do with a meal, staring at Obito as he washed the dishes, then finally let him leave.

With the moon hanging high, Fang soaked his hands comfortably in hot water for a while, then began practicing tree climbing and water walking.

These two methods of training were both to enhance chakra control. Some people were naturally talented and could master them as soon as they started, while others needed a long time to gradually grasp them. Fortunately, Fang had more than twenty years of life experience. After overcoming the discomfort of acrophobia when climbing trees, he quickly got into the groove.

"It's quite interesting!"

Fang stood on the trunk, his body parallel to the ground, occasionally turning his head to look around. The surrounding scenery presented a novel visual perspective due to different angles. After a while, he became accustomed to this view, walking back and forth on the trunk, and finally slowly walked down the trunk and hung upside down like a bat under the branches.

The gravity made Fang's internal organs uncomfortable. Subconsciously, he activated chakra to protect his internal organs, quickly eliminating the discomfort.

"Let's try water walking again!"

Fang came down from the tree, walked to the small pond in the courtyard, covered his feet with chakra, and gently stepped on the surface of the water.

Splash!

Fang fell into the water without a word.

"Oh my god!"

Fang swam out of the water, completely soaked.

"This is not scientific. Climbing trees was so smooth, but now..."

Fang covered his feet with chakra again, then tried water walking once more. This time, he was more cautious. When his feet sank into the water, he retracted them, but after several attempts, his shoes were soaked through and he made no progress.

Until the late night when the moon rose to its zenith, the 6-year-old Fang finally couldn't hold on anymore and yawned continuously.

"Yawn~ Looks like I have to wait until tomorrow."

Then, Fang quickly took a bath and went to sleep.

The next morning, Fang was awakened by the noise from the next room by Obito. He groggily made a simple breakfast and ate it, only to realize that his hands were no longer sore.

"Is it better? Could this be my golden finger after crossing over? Quickly recovering from soreness and fatigue?"

Fang carefully inspected his small hands, fair and tender, each finger slender like spring onions. As he looked at them, Fang was attracted to his own hands, his eyes almost forming heart shapes.

"Sigh, perfect hands. In my past life, not playing the piano would be a crime."

Shaking his head with a sigh, Fang began to refine chakra.

Because of the vast mental energy in his mind, refining chakra was relatively simple for Fang. After all, his body had 130 trillion cells, and energy could be easily extracted.

Fang felt the gradual increase of chakra in his body, feeling inexplicably fulfilled.

"So this is what it feels like to get stronger."

By noon, Obito arrived on time once again, clamoring for the feast cooked by Fang.

Fang didn't mind and smiled, making a meal for three.

"Fang, why did you make food for three people?" Obito looked puzzled when he saw the dishes on the table.

Fang gave him a blank look. "The extra portion is for your grandma."

Obito was stunned, then tears streamed down his face. "Wuwu, Fang, you're so kind. I've decided, I want to be your lifelong friend!!!"

Obito stomped on the table, shouting furiously, veins bulging on his forehead, with an expression that said, "Even if you resist, it's useless, I'm going to stew you as a side dish," looking cool and awesome.

Fang twitched his eyes and directly kicked him off the table.

Sorry, he's a bit of a neat freak.

In the end, tearful Obito packed up a portion and hurried back to the neighboring house.

Fang shook his head and smiled bitterly. "This guy, Obito, is really too kind."

Thinking about the things he did in his later life as Madara, releasing the Nine-Tails to destroy Konoha, directly causing the death of his master Minato, and later inciting a series of wars, he was like a completely different person.

"Could this be what they call the deeper the love, the deeper the hatred?"

After lunch, Fang looked at his perfect hands again and began to practice hand seals once more!
