Knowledge is the best skill for Isekai [P1]

A 24 year old man who spent his last 10 years in a hospital due to a serious disease. Unable to move or go outside yet he was able to hold his pain and suffering. It was thanks to the stories he read from novel, manga, animes and video games. When his time finally came, he was given a second chance to choose what kind of new life he wants to live, and the type of world he wants to go. For someone who spent his life on reading or watching some "isekai" stories, he knows exactly what kind of world he wants to go. Or so he thought. [I know "exactly" what you want. How about Saletera?] [Sounds good. And for the skills, only one I'll ask.] ---------------------------- English is my second language. This novel wasn't suppose to be uploade early. Originally I was going to make a Fanfiction, but because of misclick, I made it a webnovel instead. So I had to change the title to a new one which is this one. The story has many Arc, but I'm only gonna make one Arc for "Webnovel". As for the reason "why?" It will be in the last chapter. ------------------------------ One last thing: this novel was requested to be shared. so I don't care about the numbers of whatever. I'm just sharing the story to readers.

Laboratory under the mountains (2)

After exiting that room were the capsule is, I went to the professor's room to get some clothes. They were all bigger size for a boy who is 14. Well, can't be helped.

The Laboratory in the mountain is very large with multiple rooms, a research room, a bedroom, a bathroom, a lab for magic potions and inventions, a storage room for items and tools, a kitchen, and a large pool for fishing?

Not really, the pool was used for magic fishes and sea beast, although there is none anymore now.

Right now I am in the kitchen eating some foods that was left in the kitchen storage.

What am I eating you ask?

Sandwich.

With boar meat, tomatoes, bread and cheese.

Where did I got those? The kitchen's storage obviously.

The storage has some magic ruins written on the walls that stops the food from rotting. There are many foods in there that can last for 10 years.

Now it can only last for 3 years because 7 years had already past since the Professor made those ruins. As for the kitchen's tools, they are all still can be used.

While eating, I was looking at the small screen in front of me which contain multiple information.

Same as using the screen information when I was in the Senoki's Library, I can also use it out in the real world too. Like Satou.

It's feels like when I am using my smartphone with one hand and eating chips with the other hand, except this time I am using both hands.

What I am checking are some informations about this world's magic.

It's seems that there are two kinds of magic. The Elemental magic and Non Elemental magic.

Elemental magic are magic which use the shapes of elements like: fire, water, poison, plant, sound, light, dark, time, space, etc.

And the non elemental magic...well, like the name says, it a magic that are not using shapes of elements like curse magic, sealing, telepathic, boost, flying, mind, acceleration, senses, etc.

Although it's only two kinds, but every type of magic has multiple sub types, for example the fire magic. From the fire magic you can use: flame magic which is more stronger than fire magic, fire manipulation magic to manipulate fire, cold flame to create a fire that is cold instead of hot, dark flame which is a fire that is black color and more stronger, and many other sub types.

Same goes for the non elemental too. An example is the Mind magic. From it I can use mind connection or link to use telepathic, mind acceleration to think fast, mind manipulation or mind control to control, confuse, or make illusions to the enemy, like genjutsu.

Everyone in this world can use magic as long as they have MP. MP refers to "mana pool" not "magic power", don't mistake this world like in the video games.

[As for how to use the mana and cast a magic spell, that's easy.]

Swallowing the last bite of the sandwich that I already finished, I open my right hand and closed my eyes. Then I start concentrating, with the help of Senoki sensei, I already know how and what it's feels like to use magic. Inside my body there is mana pole, let's imagine it's shape as a box or something that is filled with liquid of mana. Then open a door hole on the box to pore out some mana, and connect it to my right hand so that the mana can be transfer there and gathering it. Now I need to change the mana in my hand to create a magic spell. The spell that I want to cast is Wind magic.

Yes wind. Not fire ball or water ball, but wind ball. I wouldn't imitate those isekai characters who uses strong spell in there first try.

The reason I choose to use wind first is because it's the most easiest and fastest magic to cast. I can use fire or water but it's takes more time and mana. If I want to cast fire magic then I will need to change the mana into fire attribute. But for wind magic, I only need to manipulate the air around me. A mage can cast any elemental magic by changing the characteristics of the mana into the element that he want. But using the mana in manipulating the environment around him to change it's characteristic into elemental magic will cost less mana to consume.

I opened my eyes to see if the spell worked. The air around my hand started to change forming multiple winds that rotating around creating sphere ball of wind on top of my hand.

[ It's feels like rasengun. ] I scoffed with a smile.

It's dosen't looks the same actually. The color is not blue but white, and the wind rotation is one way.

I looked to a clear wall and aimed my right hand at it.

[ Wind Bullet. ] I pronounced the name of the spell in a low voice.

*Blast!*

*Boom!*

After releasing the spell from my hand it dashed towards the wall that I was aiming. It hit the wall creating some small dust around it.

[ It's a good thing I used a little. ]

I looked at the wall that has a small mark of sphere on it now. Just to let you know, I used a Very little but enough mana in my spell. Why? Because I don't want to end up creating a First Mark of Destruction on my first spell.

Like I said before, I won't imitate those MCs who "Accidentally" fires a large spell that leaves a Large Mark in their first try.

Well, most of the MCs are actually newbies, so ofcourse they will accidentally destroy something, because they don't know. As for me? yes I am a Newbie too, but I am different. Because I Do something after I Know how to do it correctly.

Next I tried using the other elements attribute. Water start forming on my hand creating a water ball. Success. Then I raise my left hand to create another spell. A small flame suddenly appeared on my left hand, like as if my hand was a Lighter. It grew a little more until it was in the same size as the water ball. Both where in a size of a pingpong ball.

Then I moved them closer, making the two spells touch each other.

*Pofffffff*

The water ball got evaporated by the fire ball creating a small smoke. Some of them entered my nose.

[ Cough-Cough. ]

Looks like the winner is the fire element. I thought both spells would disappear in creating a smoke reaction like in the game. Why wasn't the water able to put out the fire with it?

< Ring >

Hm? Oh so that's why~. Because of the differences in mana. I put more mana in the fire ball to make it reach the same size as the water ball, which made the fire more stronger. It's not the size or the weight, but the amount of mana.

*Huff*

I blew away the fire that was on my hand, then I  used both hands to create earth magic. Unlike wind, water, and fire, earth magic is harder than them when creating it. Ofcourse I can use the ground to make it more easier, but I want to test how to change the characteristic of the mana into an element attribute. The process took 12 seconds for me to create a small rock, the size of an index finger. The wind, fire and water that I cast took less than 5 seconds to appear, as for the earth, it tooks 9 seconds.

[ If I use the ground to create the same spell, then it will take less than that. ] I murmured.

I start casting more other spells after that. Lightning magic, ice magic. poison magic which I only use a poison that's harmless to me. Plant magic which need the support of the ground, because you can't create a plant from a thin air, you need an Earth ground or a soil to do that. And shadow magic to move my shadow.

I think that's enough for today's test. I used alot of mana. I need to recharge, which means I need to sleep.

*Yaaaaaaaawn*

[ It's time to go to sleep. ]

And also visiting the library.

A/News

I started uploading this story 6 months ago, even though I wasn't really planning to share this story first, because of some 'Miss click'. And like I said in the "next chapter info" I paused the story until I finish writing all the chapters or most of them so I don't get annoyed going back and forward "writing then uploading then writing again then uploading again".

Good News: I finish writing 84 chapters, last month, only about 12-15 maybe left. And I was planning to start uploading it in Christmas.

Bad News: last month, my laptop got damaged, and it needed to be fix. The consensus: all the chapters files that was stored got deleted too. ALL OF THEM! and I didn't make a back up for it.

So now I have to rewrite all the chapters that been lost AGAIN. *exhale* I decided to "Ongoing" the story not "pause" it. The update of the chapters will be random from now on.

That's all. I don't feel like I need to say "sorry for the late" or what ever. After all, I'm busy too.

Oh, I also forgot to say 'thank you' to my friend Author who didn't help me in my story novel when I asked his help, because he is "busy" with his story novel and manga.

That's all.
