23 23. Professional captain.

It took a couple of hours to get the entire ship cleaned up, I had let out Wonder in its sand kitten form who was just sleeping lazily on the deck. Occasionally the girls would give it a couple scratches and it would purr happily.

"While we travel I'll be teaching you both some basic combat skills, hand to hand, and swordplay." I tell Ning'er and Xiu.

The both nod.

"We will also be doing exercises to strengthen the body and training under increased gravity. I'll also be sealing your cultivation with a set of bracelets." I pull out various different bracelets and put them on thier wrists. A dark aura spreads around my body and the gravity triples on the deck making them safer slightly under the pressure. I also slap one onto my wrist. I had done quite a bit of training to strengthen my body so I wasnt as effected.

I pull out the red gourd that has the blood wine and take a gulp. It has a kind of spicy taste and my body starts to heat up.

I pass the gourd around. "Only a single gulp. Then we need to start exercising to work the medicine into our bodies." I take off my shirt and drop to the floor and start doing push ups.

The girls follow my lead, they struggle quite a bit though. "The harder you work the more benefits you recieve." I tell them and switch to sit up and crunches.

It doesnt take long for sweat to cover our bodies, the increased gravity and blood wine going to work. My inside feel like they are slowly being roasted.

I occasionally check the ship to make sure that we arent going to crash.

After a couple hours of working out I show them the basic Muay Thai stances and practice alongside of them until lunch.

"We will do this everyday, we will also spar occasionally." I tell the girls as Ning'er cooks a delicious lunch. "Right now we are heading towards marineford....I think. I plan to head to east blue after gathering a bit of information."

I explain my plans, it would be easier to find out information in a large city as I dont exactly know the timeline I'm currently in.

"We can stop off on some islands and pick up anything we need along the way like food or other things we need." the ship needs a bit of items and some minor work which I could do myself.

~Three days later.~

"Do you know where we are?" Ning'er asks.

"I do!" I calmly reply.

"Then where are we?" she asks tapping her foot as I sweat heavily.

"Uhhh the ocean?" I answer.

She rolls her eyes. "Where in the ocean?"

"The watery part?" I answer/question.

"You don't know where we are do you?" She face palms and Shen Xiu giggles.

"No..." I sag in defeat.

"Do you know how to read a map?" She asks pointing to the rolled up map in my pocket.

"Uhhh?"

"Do you have a compass that is pointing us in the right direction?"

"Yes!" I pull out a compass that just spins wildly. "Uhhhh." I toss it over my shoulder off the ship. "It may have been damaged due to the gravity training." I admit sheepishly.

"We are almost out of fresh water and I'm getting low on fresh meat, we need to stop by an island and pick up a new compass as well as get directions." Ning'er says looking at me.

"Alright fine..." I sigh before jumping high into the air and looking around.

I find an island in the distance and drop back down. "I spotted an island we can head that way."

I turn the ship towards the island I had spotted.

"You really should get some information about captaining a ship." Ning'er says beside me.

"I know, but I've been figuring it out. Kind of." I tell her. "Atleast Shen Xiu believes in me right Xiu?!" I hug the red head who giggles.

"Nope! Hehe!" ah my feelings.

"Plus you have no sense of direction." Ning'er adds another blow.

"I blame my lack of an eye! Depth perception is all wonky!" I cry out an excuse.

She isn't buying it.

About 2 hours later the island comes into view, I get a quick crash course on learning how to park a ship as apparently just dropping anchor isn't how you do it.

Gotta pull up sails and slow down then you drop the anchor.

We had stopped a bit away from a village front and hopped from the ship to the land easily.

"I'm going to go and buy us food and some better cookware." Ning'er says as I hand her some money.

"I'm going to get some more cleaning supplies and items for the ship." Shen Xiu says as I also give her some funds.

"I'll go grab directions and pick up a couple of compasses and look around. Maybe ask a couple of questions about captaining a ship." we split up into different directions and make our way through the village.

I stop in front of an older gentleman. "Hello sir do you know where I can pick up a new compass and maybe some directions?" I ask the man.

"Not a pirate are ya lad?" he asks looking me over.

"No sir, our compass however broke out at sea so we are kind of lost." I admit.

"Ah, well you are near the Florian Triangle lad, I would suggest you avoid that place. As for the compass there is a shop about a block away who sells such wares. Just avoid the big black house north of here, it's rather haunted." He says eerily.

Haunted house? Fuck yeah I'm going to visit it!

"Thank you!" I quickly scurry off towards the store and pick up a few compasses making sure not to damage them with gravity.

Then, I make my way towards a large spooky looking house with great curiosity.
