Chapter 42 Where is she?

Next day, Justin was sitting in his cabin with a file in his hand. However, his focus was somewhere else. He was continuously looking at Genevieve's cabin through the glass wall.

"Where is she? Why hasn't she come yet?" He thinks while glancing at his watch.

It was already 11 am and there was no trace of Genevieve at the office. She was never late for work and was always on time, which made him worried today.

He sighs and leans back on his chair. He recalls the events that occurred yesterday.

"Was I too harsh on her?" He thinks.

"But she was careless. I cannot risk Ivy again", he mumbles.

"But it could happen with anyone. She didn't do it deliberately", he thinks.

As he recalled her eyes which showed immense guilt for her carelessness and the pain in her voice when he didn't allow her to meet Ivy, he felt sad. He regretted his behaviour.

"I should call her. Where is she?" He mumbles and calls her immediately.
