Beggining

Although Zen was a fan of Kuroko no Basket he didn't do research on the families of the different characters, he knew that Akashi had a rough childhood because of his father, who was extremely strict to him all the time, showing a downside of the prestigious family of the Akashi's, with this in mind he was preparing himself for the worse and to melt a heart in the future.

The first few months were a struggle for Zen, being a baby with a mental age in the thirty it's not that amazing. At least he had a brother most of the time so he just copied him for the sake of appearances.

Akashi would cry for food so he didn't need that because both of them ate at the same time, but you know having to drink your mother's milk, having to cry when your diaper is dirty.

Having people clean you when you do it is rather... unpleasant and embarrassing. But not everything was bad, you receive cuddles all the time especially from his mother Shiori, he always wanted to be around her because she was really similar to his former mother, both were gentle with a beautiful smile in their faces, and the aura they radiated giving people the feeling of warmth, so he grew attached to her real quick, resting and not being worried about anything was a good plus to being a baby too.

Something he realized was that Akashi is a cute little duck chick, always following him around and was extremely competitive.

He started taking his first steps when he was 5 months old, where by the way was to walk to his mother's embrace for the sake of drama. Shiori cried like no tomorrow, making Zen satisfied for giving happiness to his mother.

But after taking his first steps, after exactly 1 month Akashi took his own, which is pretty amazing for babies, normally babies should know how to walk by the age of one and they did it with 5months and 6 months respectively. All this made people think they were amazing and that they would be geniuses when they grow up, the same took place with the first words.

Zen made his mother cry of happiness many times in a span of one and a half years. And like the event of taking his first steps and making things even better, his first word with people around was ''mummy'', to Shiori it was an arrow right to her heart she didn't get a nosebleed but tears poured like a waterfall while she squeezed Zen tightly.

To make things worse he completely disregarded his mental age, having the looks coupled with the knowledge of things that would melt her mother's heart won him a boundless amount of cuddles.

In the department of looks, Akashi had his red hair coupled whit his red eyes which made him look quite intimidating but still, he was small so nothing major. Zen on the other side had his black hair paired with his black eyes, his facial features then his translucent skin, already pointed to a pure handsome future. Akashi was a mix of his father and mother at least the hair was more like his father's short and messy hair, while Zen had the delicate features of Shiori with improvements here and there.

Slowly time passed and at the age of 5 things turned to the worse, not in the relationship with his mother but with his father. Who always wanted the best out of them, packed their time with etiquette training befitting of the Seijurou's since both Zen and Akashi were smart (with Zen being an adult in the soul) they learned quickly, satisfying Masaomi demands.

And the thing that passed on the most was that they should ''Stand above others'' and that winners will take all and mainly to win no matter what.

Zen kind of understood where Masaomi mentality came from after all if you don't have the resolve to win and to dream of standing above others, you will fail eventually, after all everything comes from your mindset. It's just that Masaomi's way to relay it to them was not the best, putting a lot of pressure and making them afraid of failure.

Obviously it didn't affect Zen a lot since he lived as much as his parents. But the mentality of winning, he quite accepted it igniting his desire to stand at the top, not like it wasn't his wish before it simply solidified his mentality and desire for improvement. It is all about how you elucidate things.

Akashi on the other side, was struck with a lot of pressure and was afraid in the beginning, but adapted fast after all his mental capabilities were just insane for his age, and with the help of his mother and brother, he managed to pull through from his dark emotions.

But nonetheless made them have a tense relationship with their father.

Their lives were quite monotonous and hard for their age, they would wake in the morning, go for a morning jog, after all a healthy body leads to a healthy mind or so is believed, do some stretching to improve their flexibility, all these routines were made by a personal trainer in order to help their body maintain a desirable state, after that, they would clean up and would then take breakfast, all meals were made by a chef and controlled their nutrition, the meals were good so there was no problem with it, besides there was no choice if you didn't like the food you would have to eat it still since Masaomi wouldn't let us get out of the table if the plate wasn't clean. Then they would go and study Japanese and math only the things learned in 1st grade to prepare them for elementary school. In the afternoon they would learn etiquette, manners in and out of the table where surprisingly there was a lot to cover, learn how to play different instruments everything instructed by specialists in the different fields, they were strict with them all the time. In this busy and controlled life, they had little time to play spending it with their mother who would sneak up in the middle of classes and joke around. It was noticeable that she was worried about them and their mental state.

Now the time of elementary school is coming.
