Sandy frowned at her phone “I’ll be back.” She got up and went to the exit.

I stared at the exit and wondered which guy was hittin her line, At least she getting some dick, I laughed bitterly then frowned.

“What are you doing for break?” Joon asked me as he pulled a bowl of soup in front of him. Oh, soo now he wants to talk to me, I thought as I stared away from.

I decided not to be petty “Going home to Tuskegee, spend the whole holiday with my family.” I answered lamely.

He nodded and took a sip of his drink “Can I come?” He asked.

Without even thinking, I snorted “No.”

What the fuck kind of question was that? Fuck no you can’t come to the fucking country with me and my crazy black family from both sides. Oh, no. Uh uh, that’ll cause me too much stress.

His eyebrows furrowed “What? Why not?” He sat his chopsticks down.

I grimaced “It's for your own good.” I stated before eating another dumpling.
