The Diety of all Eternity
"...Million...Billion. Or has it been a Trillion years since I first yearned for a delicious meal...?" a voice echoed in the dark and empty void.
"I can't even remember how many events I've witnessed. The crumbling of things. The descent into chaos in every world. And the deaths of beings both greedy with sin and brimming with goodness... I can't even fathom why... everything... must end in death," the man's voice continued in his blank and dark mind.
"Hmm, let's see how should I begin this... Before 'Everything,' there were three aspects that came to life to balance creation itself. One of them is the concept of Life, which also existed to be active in the presence of every world. And there's the Balance in everything to properly execute the 'Justice' they call it. But in all the joys and fairness, there is an end too. There are fears, there are despairs, and there's Death as well. And that's where my existence began as a..." it said in its mind, and as it continued, a pair of eyes slowly opened, revealing its blue eye. It continued speaking as its eye fully opened, " The Diety of all Eternity, " it finally declared as its blue eye fully opened.
Chapter 1 - The Being of Endings: a Miserable life, or is it?
Tokyo, Year 2035
Month of April
The month when the blossoming of certain trees in Japan occurs. The Cherry blossoms
Tonight, our attention is drawn to a tall man with blue eyes, clad in a jacket and pajama bottoms, looking tired and weary, carrying a bag of groceries. "Ahh, exhausting," he sighed in his mind as he continued walking. While walking, he noticed children running with kites, one of them resembling a white dragon. He also saw people strolling with lanterns, families happily conversing.
"Oh, that's right. It's the Day of the Light of Life today. A Tradition For the Diety of Life," the man thought to himself as he walked. As he continued his path, a man suddenly called out to him in the distance.
"Yamikaze-Kun!" he called out as he approached, waving. "What are you doing here? You rarely come out, you know. Didn't you just come from a date, hehehe," he teased Yamikaze, who looked at him with a blank expression.
"Relax, dude, I'm just kidding. Regardless, because your life is so dull, I recommended you to the company I work for!" After saying this, Yamikaze suddenly turned a bit serious, appearing somewhat irritated. Yamikaze, in response, asked his friend, "Zabura, aren't you afraid of death?" He chuckled a bit as he replied, "Are you planning to kill me or something? Hahaha."
Upon hearing Zabura's answer, Yamikaze sighed quietly and thought to himself, "Should I take this guy's soul?" Zabura then placed his hand on Yamikaze's shoulder and patted it. "You have a meeting tomorrow at the company. Just wait here at 10:30 in the morning, and I'll pick you up to take you to the company building. See ya then!" he said to Yamikaze before running off to go home.
Introduction#1:
Yamikaze Yutaka - a "22"-year-old boy who has nothing good in life. He also dislikes people. But in reality, he's a being older than the universe itself. He is the living embodiment of the End. Yamikaze Yutaka is the name he chose, and he is the God of Death itself.
As he continued his walk, Yamikaze encountered a black cat that approached him, seeking affection. When Yamikaze noticed the cat, he knelt down to pet it. For a brief moment, the black cat locked eyes with him. Its green eyes focused on Yamikaze's blue ones. As the stare continued, Yamikaze slightly widened his eyes, and a blue light orbited around his pupils. Seeing this, the cat tilted its head, and after a moment, it began to walk away. While Yamikaze observed its departure, he remained in a kneeling position. After a moment, he stood up from his kneeling position and continued his walk home.
Upon arriving at his apartment, Yamikaze noticed a woman hurriedly putting on her shoes. As soon as she had them on, she hastened to exit the apartment building. Yamikaze watched the woman's rushed actions and once she had left, he entered his own apartment.
His first action was to drop the groceries he had been carrying and lie down on the couch. As he reclined on the couch, his white cat approached and leaped onto his chest, nuzzling against Yamikaze's head.
At this point, he sighed and began using his hands to search for the remote. He tried to feel around for it, but he couldn't find it. Just as he was about to get up to search further, he noticed that the TV remote was actually in the mouth of his cat, who had been staring blankly at him the whole time.
Realizing that the remote was in the cat's mouth, he patted his cat and gently took the remote from its mouth. After retrieving it, he turned on the TV, and the first thing that appeared on the screen was the news about..
He saw the news about the celebration that people were observing, the Month of Tranquil Seraphina, a tradition in the world that marked the birthdays of life and its lively existence in everyone. Upon seeing this, Yamikaze sighed once more and gazed at his ceiling.
"Birthdays celebrating the existence of the most important resource of all, those who receive fame or days. But except for those feared or disliked. They could also be vital aspects of life, but that won't change humanity's perspective... Should I just destroy this galaxy...? Nah, I might get scolded by those lunatics, for ending humanity" he pondered in his mind.
In the midst of the silence, he suddenly noticed an orange-colored paper tucked in his pocket. He retrieved it and realized it was a job application. He couldn't help but think that it was probably given to him by his friend, Zabura Takashi.
"A job application...? He must have slipped it into my pocket, but how did I not notice it! Heh," he thought in his mind, not displaying any expression on his face.
