"Alpha, can I say something?" Archer asked the alpha, when he was sitting alone in the dining hall with a plate full of untouched food in front of him. He was supposed to eat together with Hazel, but she refused to come and send the gamma back to tell Micah this.
Two days ago, Hazel asked to have her own bedroom, because she didn't want to be in the same room as Micah.
After all, there was no point in her being in that insanely huge room, since Micah rarely returned and would spend most of his time outside. It had been almost one and half months since Micah started treating Hazel like that and in three hours from now, Hazel would turn twenty. It would be her birthday and Micah wanted to spend this night with her, but she didn't even want to see him.
Of course, the alpha was distraught about this. It was not that Micah didn't realize where his mistake lied, but his fear of losing Hazel was bigger than anything.
