"I don't like to make you walk in such a situation," Micah said in a grim voice. He looked around and frowned because he had to expose Hazel to this situation, even though it had been proven that the plague wouldn't affect humans, still, the danger was lurking around them.
Hazel could understand his worries, but she didn't have any proof or a solid reason as her excuse to be a part of his entourage.
"I am safe and I am walking with you, I don't think it is so bad," Hazel replied lightly and grinned at Micah's frowning face. He seemed to handle himself better in this lifetime, because if it was in the past, he would have made Hazel stay at home and put her in the dark, while he thought he protected her by doing so.
It was a good thing that Hazel had her memories intact this time.
