More than that though, Megan swears there is something dark about Mr. North, something dangerous, something otherworldly. Where is the staff that keeps caring for them? Broken Heart

"We will need a complete buffer zone around her at all times." Afton supplied as he read over Sam's shoulder.

"Perhaps, she would give up her sword, so we know she won't try to fight." Gabriel thought out loud.

Both Sam and Afton turned to stare at Gabriel. "You have actually met Megan, right?" Sam asked.

"Okay, dumb idea." Gabriel huffed. He wanted to forbid her to go and that be the end of it, but it would never work. He couldn't force his will on her any longer and it was very frustrating.

Gabriel laughed aloud. "I was just thinking how frustrating it is that I can't just make her do what I want. Turn about's fair play. Now she controls everything, and I finally know what it feels like. I'm not loving it."

"You need to trust her. Megan's instincts are generally spot on. I have spent more time with her than you. You need to try to trust her." Sam told his brother seriously.
