I'm so sorry.

Fiona, Paul and Paulina were currently sitting on a blanket laid on a hotel lawn where Debby had left them after the medical treatments to have lunch and get to know each other properly. The couple was conversing, playing and cracking various jokes just to make their daughter happy but the little girl was kind of timid or to be more precise, she wasn't so used to them to feel free.

"...she said that?" Paul asked.

"Yes, that you told her yourself that I'm so pretty." Fiona said smiling hard.

"But you are, isn't it Candy?" Paul asked looking at Paulina.

Paulina nodded!

"See, I told you!" Paul said dramatically.

"Mommy is big and tall" Paulina said to hear her parents burst into laughter.

"Your mommy and tall can't be included in one sentence, my dear. They're on parallel lines." Paul said amidst laughter.

"Eishhh! How is that called" Fiona asked laughing hard, "Roasting or blackmailing me?"

"Fact!" Paul responded.

"No, my mommy is so big like an elephant" Paulina said demonstrating how big she thought Fiona was with her arms.

"Nop! I can even carry her with one arm." Paul said to see the little girl shake her head in denial.

"You can't" She said.

"I can" Her daddy said.

"You can't!"

"I can"

" You can't..."

"Alright guys!" Fiona said, "How about you two stop urguing and try it out to see if he really can or can't carry me?"

"Yes!" Paulina responded almost immediately.

"Let me carry this woman with only one arm and throw her away" Paul said standing up.

"Like a stone?" Paulina asked with happiness building inside her.

"Yes, you just wait and see" Paul said. He tried to pull Fiona's arm upwards with one hand in an attempt of carrying her off the ground but he couldn't.

"I told you that you can't!" Paulina said chuckling.

"Let me ashame you who think I can't" Paul said and proceeded to lift Fiona by the leg but he still couldn't.

"Oh no!" Paulina said chuckling, her dimples deepening.

"How about I do this!" Fiona said standing up, she jumped on Paul's back to have both of them fall down with a thud.

"Hahahaha....!" Paulina giggled for the first time, so hard that she fell on her back.

Paul and Fiona who were laughing at their fall laughed more at the sight of their daughter dying with laughter. Her giggles sounded like a melodious song that the both of them wanted to keep listening to, to heal their souls. No parent wouldn't die to hear their child whizz with happy laughter.

"Y-you, you fell...like a tree" Paulina said amidst gut deep giggles to have them laugh more.

"This girl!" Fiona said after sometime of rolling on the floor with laughter.

"How could you say such thing to us, young lady? How dare you?" Paul asked feigning anger. He picked the girl up, "Let me throw you away instead, very far away."

"Don't throw my baby away" Fiona said getting up as well.

"Leave me alone!" Paul said, he started running with the little girl in his hands as Fiona ran behind them. The trio was laughing merrily as they ran around their small picnic blanket until they couldn't run anymore.

"Daddy is powerful! He can even carry a mountain." Paulina said for them to laugh at her change of perception towards her dad.

Not too far from the happy couple and their daughter, a brown eyed man was staring at the trio with a mild smile on his full lips. His eyes were mostly fixated on a brown skinned lady and a cute little girl giggling___enjoying their lives to the fullest.

"Ahem!" A guy cleared his throat to gain his attention which startled him instead.

"Seems like the biblical David and Uriah's story is about to repeat itself. Don't tell me that you're planning to kill the poor boy after sleeping with his girlfriend? Because you cannot lie to me that you don't like her." The guy said.

"The guy you're calling a boy is older than you mister, behave. She's actually married to someone I know and I can't harm him no matter what. Paul is not a threat because by the looks of it, he's in friend zone and he's soon going in US anyway." The brown eyed man said.

"Putting all possibilities in consideration is an undeniable proof that you like her."

"I could be attracted to her but I don't like her." The guy denied, "She's the sweetest woman I've ever tasted all my life."

"I will try my luck then since you have nothing to do with her. Who am I not to taste on the delicious woman my brother complemented for the first time ever." The second guy said to receive a warning glare.

"I dare you, asshole! Go meet the investors before I leave the meeting on you."

"Aye sir!" The guy said and hurriedly ran into a conference room on the last floor of the hotel.

Fiona was leisurely sitting in her room, scrolling through her social media FYPs. After playing more and talking with Paul about serious issues like; their parent's situations in jail and updates about their other family members, his progress in seeking passport and other required documents for joining the university in California and other profitable topics___they parted ways to their residents.

Little Paulina had slept at 9pm and Fiona was now bored thus spending her time on social media watching funny videos to avoid overthinking about her parent's matters that haven't left her head yet. She had talked to her husband concerning Paulina's condition and he had promised to pass by and check on them.

Luckily, her fypage was filled with multiple videos of her dancing with a celebrity from various accounts that had reposted them. She was so glad to see herself going viral and being a lot of people's topics. She browsed more to find more videos of Anna and Debby; both resent and old ones.

By the time sleep started closing her eyes, it was almost 3am in the morning. She first took Paulina to pee and then set out for bed.

"Belle!"

"Hmm!"

"Do you regret sleeping with me before marriage?"

"No, why?" Anna shifted a little to look him directly in the eyes. They were currently laying on the bed conversing like other healthy couples.

"I'm basing on what you said earlier that you didn't finish the race." He asked searching in her eyes with concern and worry, "Please tell me truthfully"

Anna stared on his neck for several seconds before looking back into his eyes with a shy smile.

"I could've gotten what I wished for if my prayers didn't say otherwise. Because everytime i was aroused sexually, I would pray for God to bring my man to satisfy me before I give in to other men." She said, "Only if I remembered to mention the wedding night thing, we would've perhaps gotten self-control that particular night"

Liam chuckled, "Not on the way I pounced on you like I was being chased. Your prayers were already taking effects."

"For real! Only that I was so scared of you to do anything first of which you thankfully did in the end. Otherwise, you were like a delicious meal to the hungry me."

Liam chuckled hard as he dived into her neck for a bite. "You're so naughty, my woman. I wonder what you would've become if you were a man! So bold and perverted."

"I would surpass Max!" She said for them both to giggle.

Liam grabbed the small of her waist closer into him then caged her captive with his legs.

"I wouldn't mind you whoring with me alone." Liam said burying his face in her mounds.

Anna weaved her fingers into his curls, pressing her chin on top of his head. Talking a littlemore, they dozed off peacefully and comfortably.

Very early in the next morning, Liam was dressing up for work after showering. He pecked on her forehead, before murmuring lowly not to wake her up.

"Gotcha crying tonight" He said with a wicked smirk on his face and left.

When Anna fully woke up, it was 10am making it to 11am.

"Life without working stress when you get all the treat is incomparable." She murmured amidst yawning and stretching. She called him, talked for hours till he got too busy to talk on phone but he told her not to cook anything and that he would pick her up for a lunch date.

Time flew by quickly and it was 2pm in a blink of an eye. Liam had already come for her.

"This is my first time seeing you filming anything with your phone." Anna said to Liam who was busy filming her room.

"I want to keep this satisfying view in memory." Liam said.

Anna just rolled her eyes on him and headed out and into the car. He also locked the house and took them in a very fancy restaurant. The date was great but what disturbed Anna was the change in Liam's behaviour. He received a lot of phone calls and each call, he would get out to receive it.

"What is it you're hiding from me that you've never hidden before?" Anna asked narrowing her eyes on him.

"Nothing, just finish up your lunch. I got work to do." Liam replied in a rude way.

"What?" Anna exclaimed frowning deeply, "So your work is better than me now?"

"I didn't say that but it's where we feed. So, it's also vital." He replied fixating his eyes on his phone.

Anna snatched his phone from his hands but he took it back immediately.

"Belle! Stop it"

"Since when do you hide your shit from me?"

"My what? And since when do you call my personal stuffs shit?" Liam asked.

"Since you hide your phone from me" She said with a raised voice.

"Don't you have yours, though?" Liam asked back with a frown.

"Oh! So, everything is personal all of a sudden? Okay, no problem." She said and fetched out her phone. She remained pressing without saying a word nor looking at him for several minutes till he couldn't take it no more.

"Listen Belle, I didn't mean it like...."

Anna got up before he could finish the sentence and went to his car. Liam just shook his head and payed their bills before following her. He silently drove them to his office at the mall and he resumed his work but she went into his resting room just after the office where they had been before him leaving for California. She connected her Pods to the Bluetooth and watched a movie laying on the bed.

In the office, Liam was typing something on the computer when his phone rang. He picked it up and a woman's voice came up.

"What time are coming at?" A lady asked.

"What time is it now" Liam asked checking on his wristwatch, "Right now, it's time."

"Okay, how's she? She called me like ten times but I refused to pick her up." The lady said.

"She's mad"

"I know, I know that she will skin me alive if she gets to know that we're in this together."

Liam sighed, "Am surprised that she hasn't killed me yet. I will text you when I get there"

"Okay!"

Liam hung up and went the resting room to find her crying while watching something on her rotated phone.

"I wonder what movie made my girl cry this pitifully?" He said out loud leaning on the doorjamb and crossing his arms.

"It's non of your business" Anna replied to him even without glancing over at him.

"It's sure not" He replied with a shrug, "Can I take you home now?"

"No need, I know my way home. You can carry on with your private personal shit in my absence." She said packing her belongings in her bag and wiping her tears.

"But do you know that if you don't control your temper, you will kill a person one day?"

"Will I be the first one to kill or does it feel like so strange to you?" Anna said but she regretted it when saw him narrow his eyes at her with a deep frown. She panicked, just thinking about the impact it might've done on him scared her.

"Look, am so sorry I didn't mean it that way...."

"No you did" Liam said and walked away.
