Burning with burdens -2

Kyra stood by the bridge and sighed out loud. It was pretty late but she could not even close her eyes.

Anna's condition was worrying her and above everything, her mom's journal was only making her cry every night. She had left a huge burden over her, a responsibility to save her people from that monster, and that made her sigh.

Her head started throbbing again with all the thoughts and she tried to take another deep breath.

"You aren't sleepy?" Kevin's voice startled her and she saw him walking over to her.

"Why are you here? You should be resting." She nagged as he wasn't completely recovered from his weakness. She dropped him to his quarters and came back but here he was standing beside her.

"I couldn't sleep." Kevin answered standing beside her and stared at the lake.
