When Gavin nodded and gave her a weak smile, she wore her glasses and left.

Seeing that Amber is out of sight, Gavin strove to his seat and continued reading the documents, ignoring Rhett, Derek and Tyson whom were still standing rooted.

"Dude are you going to talk about what just happened or we should ask you ourselves?" Tyson asked.

Flipping the pages in the documents, "What happened and what's that?"

Widening his eyes in shock, Rhett said, "dude are you kidding me? I know you're hiding something from us but at least still share a little gist with us man"

Tossing the document aside, Gavin raised his eyebrows upwards and said, "What gist?"

"Ugh come on Gavin stop acting weird, I know there's something between you and Amber" Rhett said.

Crossing his hands on his desk, Gavin said, "there's nothing between Ms Carlos and I, absolutely nothing, I only did what a boss is expected to do for his employee"

"Ahhh, really? So Gav tell me when you started caring and doing so much for people most especially for women?" Derek asked.

"Am shocked, I can't still believe that Gavin was consoling a woman" Tyson added.

"Can you guys please stop? I didn't see anything wrong with a boss sympathizing with his employee, like is it a bad thing"

Placing his hands on his hips, Rhett said, "Bad thing? Hell no it's not a bad thing but it's shocking to me"

"And why are you shocked?"

"Are you for real dude? We both grew up together and as far as I can remember you've never squatted down in front of a woman, wiping off her tears, consoling her and cracking jokes with her"

Massaging his forehead, Gavin groan, "Rhett, Rhett, Rhett, Rhett, I am human and I have feelings for people too"

"But this is the first time you're showing it out"

"Gav, it's good to see you falling in love, I mean Amy Rockie is gonna make a suitable girlfriend for you"

"And also a good sex mate, you're so lucky, man because she's hot and spicy" Derek added.

Frowning deeper, "can you all please cut it out? My ears are aching already, I already told you guys countless times that there's nothing between Ms Carlos and I. She's my employee and am her boss, simple!"

Grinning from ear to ear, Rhett raised his eyebrows up and down simultaneously, "hmm Boss and employee, huh, now tell me nothing happened in the car last night before you dropped her off"

Narrowing his eyes, "absolutely nothing, nothing, nothing and nothing but still nothing"

Widening his eyes, Rhett gasp, "Nothing? A beautiful sexy, pretty, good looking and hot lady was with you in your car last night and you do nothing?"

Crossing his hands in his front, Gavin relaxed his back on the chair and raised his eyebrows upwards, "Oh Rhett Warren, what were you expecting from a boss giving his employee a lift? Rape her or take advantage of her body? Huh?"

"Derek, am not in a relationship with Ms Carlos neither are we dating, it was pretty late last night and there were no public transport so I decide to give her a lift"
