I WASN’T able to answer the twins, apart from the fact that I also didn't know what to say. If I will admit that I have known Xylon since I was in college, they will only ask me more questions that would lead to whatever relationship I had with him. And I still don't have the courage to tell them the truth.

When the emcee called the audience's attention, I shifted my look away to the two-step-high centre stage that had been set up.

"Mr Xylon Diaz and Ms Farah Araullo, please..." Everyone's fascinated eyes were drawn to the two. I noticed Katy taking Farah's hand, then Xylon's. Then he glued them together. Their hands met as if they were meant to be. And that I was still so pitiful about my feelings for Xylon.

"Please join me in welcoming them for a surprise announcement."

What kind of announcement are they going to break? Is there something going on between the two of them? Are they already engaged?
