SHEUNG Wan. That is how they call this place. I looked up at the tall building in front of me. It was made in modern construction and can be compared to some of the tallest skyscrapers in Manila.

It looks like a very busy street. With shops and patrons and the audible noise of foreign language veiled around me.

My observation of the foreign setting was interrupted when Fiore grabbed my arm.

"I have a flat here where we can stay. Let's go, Miranda," he said.

We entered a narrow hallway and took the elevator. There were writings on the wall. Words are written in Cantonese and below are the English translations, 'when there is a fire, do not use the lift'.

"It's a good thing I didn't sell my property here in Hong Kong. At least we have a space to occupy."

I barely nodded. I have been to this country once. It was the twins' birthday, and we celebrated it together at Disneyland. It was only at the beginning of my teenage years that time and the memories were almost gone.
