KIRA, MAX, TAKAA AND BABOO

Behind her a set of eyes lingered on her, it moves further, still taking refuge in the grass. Kira sat resting on the base of the tree. The eyes became dim, looking at her with contempt. It swerves out of the field of grass approaching Kira, she feels the shadow of another presence heightened above her, she sees a beautiful iridescent green colour, and suddenly its massive heads appeared. Kira is petrified but she doesn’t make a sound.

‘Nizzzz,’ one said.

‘Very Nizzzzz.’ Said the other. Max looked down and saw the horned viper; he threw a pebble down hitting the viper on his left.

‘Get away from her, I told you this is my turf.’ He angrily stormed down, facing the Horned Viper eyeball to eyeball. ‘Takaa, Baboo leave now.’ Max said. The Viper hisses.

‘Come on, we’ve never seen a Pyrain before.’ Baboo said

‘Don’t sweat it kid, we aren’t going to eat you, we’re vegetarians.’ Said Baboo

‘So am I.’ Takaa added,

‘Who doesn’t know that?’ Max said looking at Kira; ‘You, young Pyrain, I thought I told you to leave.’

‘But I can’t, I don’t know where to go,’ Kira yells.

‘Go back the way you came.’ Max added

‘But I’m lost.’ She said

Takaa and Baboo look at them both arguing,

‘Pisst,’ Baboo draws Takaa’s attention ‘

‘I guess this is bad timing’ Baboo said

‘I certainly agree with you.’ Says Takaa

‘So what should we do?’ Takaa speaking

‘I don’t know.’ Says Baboo

‘What should we?’

Both hissing;

‘Naaaaa-Nothing.’ Both speaking.

A mega roar comes and this time it’s closer to Kira’s hearing. She looks at Max and frowns, Takaa and Baboo look up to the trees getting a cold belly.

‘She’s been marked by a Beast.’ Max speaks from his home,

‘That’s so sad.’ Said Takaa, Baboo hits Takaa on the head with their tail, ‘ouch!’

‘You’ve to help me, please.’ Says Kira.

‘Why should I help you?’ ‘Besides Pyrains feed on Inn and other creatures around, one less Pyrain seems like good news to me.’ Max speaking

‘He has a point there.’ Takaa said

‘I certainly agree.’ Baboo concurs.

‘Let’s eat her.’ Takaa said

‘We can’t, we are vegetarians.’ Baboo said

‘Alright Fine.’ Kira yells

She walks away from them heading towards Oblivion.

‘What’s she doing?’ Takaa asked

‘I think she’s walking away!’ said Baboo.

‘Where do you think you are going?’ Max yelled

Kira keeps moving on,

‘Alright, hold on, I’ll come with you.’ Says Max

‘That’s so heart-warming.’ Takaa says.

‘Why do

n’t we go with them?’ Baboo inquired.
