Some men left a burst of throaty laughter to get out of their mouths, and others just smiled.

"I am not surprised." Ian stated. "Actually, I was expecting that. I would do the same if I was in his place." He said and shrugged.

"Yes, that is a good idea." David commented. "The captain leads us straight to our death. This is a suicide operation, not a rescue operation. How is it possible to deal with pirates? You saw what kind of weapons they have. They outnumber us. There is no way we can survive after that. I love Kira and Brielle. They had become one of us, but that is simply not possible. It is beyond our power. We are not going to succeed. We will be killed."

"I am afraid David is right," Nathan agreed, rubbing his neck. "It's too risky. But with a good plan, I am willing to try." He added with a half-smile, and his eyes got brightened.

Ian smiled and shook his head in agreement.
