Chapter 65, part 2

The days that followed were the happiest and most carefree days.

I continued to offer my help with the work that had to be done on the ship, and now Brielle was also helping us since she no longer hid her true identity.

If I didn't see it, I wouldn't believe that there was a person who would work every day and would be so happy.

That person was Brielle. She explained that she was tired of sitting all day doing nothing. She wasn't used to it, and her every day was a little torture.

My heart ached when I heard this because I knew Brielle was a hardworking girl. She was a fearless girl, and once again, she proved to me how much she loved me and how devoted she was to me. She had never confessed to me or shown me anything all these months because she didn't want to upset me.

But now, all this belonged to the past. Now things were as they should be.

  Now things were placed in the way they should.
