The middle schoolers blinked their eyes surprised while the high schoolers smiled. "Seriously… they are like kids." Elias remarked.

Ryan smiling whispered, "Only lose to you? I won't lose to anyone…!" Taking his position he once again stood before the balling pitch bowling towards Alan. However, this time Ryan spun the ball twice before unleashing it towards Alan. A stance as graceful as a bird unfolded before Alan's eyes.

"Wild Mirror: Slicing Cutter…" Ryan whispered letting go of the ball.

"A Phoenix…?" Alan thought surprised as he could eye a ferocious bird approaching towards him. The highschoolers gazed at his stance astounded. "There it is! Ryan's slicing left handed off Cutter!!" called Mikael happily. "Finally, took him long enough." Luka sighed relieved.

"Way to go, Ryan!" Feng waved joyously embracing Xavier who smiled. Helios, Kenzo and Seraph grinned. The ball spinning towards off side went towards the wicket.

Ren guessed once more, "A Left sided off cutter aimed straight towards the wicket's low left stump." And just like he said the ball went in the same direction as Alan guarded himself stopping the dangerous delivery with a dot return.

"Was that… the Land Phoenix Musa's balling style?" asked Noah surprised.

"Indeed… it is. As tricky as it looks it is also elegant in its own way." Evan agreed. "One head strong brat he is taking on Alan and Ren at the same time." Orion remarked as Aaron nodded.

"That was close…" Alan thought gazing at the ball which stopped before his feet. "What now…? Was it hard, open your eyes it's the opposite coming up next." Ryan warned heading back.

Alan smiled, "Finally out of stress hun, too bad it's the last ball. Come, bring it on." Ryan once again standing at balling pitch suddenly changed sides towards the right. "He changed towards the right now." pointed Aigou.

Ren smirking closed his eyes. Alan tapping the bat on the ground eyed forward. "Here it goes, the last delivery." Pointed Cassiel as the other middle schoolers eyed them attentive.

Ryan closing his eyes hopped over his toes, twirling the ball in his Index, Middle and ring finger. Waiting for the moment he instantly closed his eyes balling mildly towards Alan. "Mild Mirror: Slicing Cutter…" he whispered. The ball cutting lightly through the wind went towards Alan's right.

"Aiming for an off side edge?!" Alan wondered confused as he suddenly changed his posture. "A slow spin?" asked Senri puzzled.

"The slicing cutter again." whispered Seraph. "A right sided off cutter aimed straight towards the wicket's top center." guessed Ren.

The ball making way towards Alan instantly with a tap on the ground changed its position towards the left completely.

"Huh?!" Alan uttered as he instantly pulled the ball up stopping it. The ball hitting on the bat swinged off going inside over the wicket's center with a few inches gap. For the moment the whole stadium went silent as Alan gazed with his gaze widened.

"Hey… Ren was right once again right? But… Alan did hit the ball right how come did it go over the wicket?" asked Noah speechless.

"Mild off cutter… a dangerous delivery. If it would've been an inch lower Alan would've been bolded." told Nagi. "Seriously…?" gulped Aaron. "Way to go, you brat." commented Kenzo.

"Yahoo!" cheered Adam. "A great job." smiled Xavier.

"Hehe… I told you he would rock and roll once more!" gleamed Feng. Alan smiling went towards Ryan who approached. "Good job, but still not enough." he stated handing the bat towards him.

"Hmph! don't rejoice just now. I still have to shut your boy's trap." Ryan claimed annoyed.

Alan blinked his eyes in wonder soon laughing, "Haha! Alright, alright but don't forget this insignificant me, your little highness." Taking the ball he headed away from the pitch.

Ryan grasping Ren sight rolled his eyes. "Hey, Ryan! Be calm and play. Okay?" Adam advised from behind. Raising his arm Ryan showed a thumbs up. "Haha! He heard me." Adam gleamed as Cassiel patted his head.

Seraph eyeing Kenzo nodded. Unfastening his hoodie he gazed at his left arm which was covered with a long sleeve. Xavier grasping his sight asked, "Getting ready for your turn?" Seraph nodded.

"Is your arm feeling alright?" asked Poseidon as Helios too looked at him. "Hm… it's already healed. It wasn't a big deal to begin with." Seraph replied. "But still, be careful okay?" Heber cautioned as Azazel endorsed.

Adam eyeing him nervously walked over "You sure you are alright Sera, Sera?" Seraph smiling at him assured, "Yeah, I Am."

"Hey, Look! Alan just bowled." called Ezekiel as the boys turned at the ground again. "And it's his super-fast slice ball on top of that!" Ezekiel added.

Ryan grasping the bat tightly aimed the ball towards the center of the audience and smashed it harshly returning it back with a six. "He returned it!" called Noah surprised.

"Unbelievable, and Adam was struggling against it before." reminded Aaron.

"Wah!! As expected of my rival! See Sera, Sera! He just smacked it over!" Adam cheered dancing round and round.

"Way to go little boy! A grand start!" cheered Feng and Mikael happily.

"Sigh… his balling line was disturbed but it doesn't mean his batting line is." told Kenzo.

Alan taking the ball walked back smiling while Ryan took his position once again. "He returned my fast slice ball without effort, a great job indeed. Looks like I'll have to pick up the difficulty mode a little." thought Alan.

Once again rushing towards the pitch he directed a fast delivery towards Ryan. Ren in the meanwhile, stood up heading back towards the audience seat. "What's wrong?" asked Elias.

Ren sighing shook his head, "Pull me up. I am done." A disappointed expression covering his face. Orion, Senri, Isa, Zach and Kazuna eyed each other wordless.

Aaron standing up grabbed Ren's hand, about to pull him up when an arrogant tone was clearly heard from the pitch.

"A right handed full toss fast delivery!" Ryan read as his eyes turned light green glowing vibrantly. "Huh?!" Alan uttered surprised as Ren halted amid his steps turning around to take a look.

Evan and Haruf too looked sat astonished while Rauf and Nidou eyed him seriously.

For a moment, the whole pitch went silent as the highschoolers gazed at the sight silent. Xavier relieved clapped his hands with a heartwarming smile. "Well-done." he complimented.

The middle schoolers smiled vividly. "There it is! Phoenix's Eye: Nocturnal View!" cheered Feng. "Damn that rascal. Stealing the show all for himself." gritted Kenzo with veins popping on his head as the middle schoolers laughed.

"Did- Did… did he just guess Alan's delivery before he even threw it?!" asked Orion shocked. "Don't tell me he did that!" asked Noah and Aigou eyeing Nagi who nodded in rejection. "He did it." told Isa seriously.

Alan with his expression widened grinned widely. "Unbelievable! Fantastic!" he thought thrilled.

Ren who had nothing left to speak turned around to grasp Ryan's sight. "So~ how was it? Base's third best spinner? Don't think that you are the only one who can show off." he claimed.

Raising his bat he pointed towards the high schoolers including Rauf and Ren smirking, "You all still have a long way to work upon! Judging us on a single look just won't work!" "Hehe… as cocky as ever." remarked Poseidon.

"Way to go! Little prince!" gleamed Hadi and Mikael. "Really~ sights of surprises are unfolding one by one." Seles observed.

Ren eyeing Ryan whispered, "Now that took me back a little…" "But… it's still not enough." Alan walking back towards the pitch twirled the ball rushing towards the balling crease.

Ryan once again gazing at the delivery smirked, "A full toss fast ball again however, with head start." he guessed and just like he did it was up to it. Smashing the ball towards the offside he once again claimed a four.

"So if he couldn't shine in balling, he would definitely shine in the batting line? Ain't I right?" asked Nagi glancing at Isa, Senri and Kazuna.

Senri agreed, "I think you are right on this one, Nagi boy." Kazuna eying Alan and Ryan stared silently. "So it's the fourth ball hun. I just wish Alan would get an easier opponent on the next turn." prayed Aigou as Noah smiled ruffling his hairs.
