Guilt ( III )

In her bed, Lumielle looked out the window. Her eyes looking at the setting sun as she focused back on what she was working on. Placing two drops of her dropper inside of a small cauldron her fingers skimmed upon words that were written on parchment. She was following the directions that she had written. Memories were muddled, it was impossible to remember everything which was why she was trying to recollect the thought processes of the potion that she was making.

Something felt wrong, Lumielle's golden eyes narrowed slightly as she looked at her messy writing. Did she remember this correctly? Before she could have a moment to herself, the door flew open to reveal her brother. It startled her, the force at which he opened the doors resulted in a loud bang. Yet, she showed little reaction. As always, she was cold, Aris noted.

"Aris, you came back," she said as she put down the dropper and turned to face him.
