Chapters 16: Conquering the World (Part 6)

Alexander ordered the terracotta army to march. The chamber the army discovered contained a part of the army only. Alexander had bound the army to his kingdom and came to know that the army could be evolved but not too much. As it was a star level- 2 world, the number of terracotta army was much greater than the one's in the world of mummy that Qin Yi conquered. They were more powerful too. Alexander had sacrificed 30 percent of his total king's might to make the terracotta army 4 times more powerful permanently. The terracotta army also gained a rudimentary intelligence.

As the land was claimed by him, he could see everything on it. He saw the shock on the soldiers faces when they realised the true numbers of the terracotta army. The army was a 100,000 strong and 2 times faster than the speed of a motor car. As the army was now connected to the kingdom, it could recognise the people of the kingdom. The terracotta army would feel a resonance with his subjects and would not attack them and the same for his subjects also. Alexander then ordered them to attack anyone who is not his subject. Captain Wang was ordered to attack the terracotta army, the government had planned to use the people who had submitted to the emperor to attack the army but Wang replied that some sort of power was stopping him from attacking the army. The higher ups to test this ordered some soldiers to submit to the emperor and then attack the incoming army. But after submitting, they could not do so. All of this was planned by Alexander. Now, when this news will reach the common people, they will submit to him as for attacking the terracotta army why would they do that? Moreover, this behaviour of terracotta army would convince the people that the terracotta army was not cruel as it didn't harm the people who had submitted. All this would create a positive impact on the people of the world and more would submit to him.

Alexander had previously ordered the terracotta army to attack but he had ordered them to move at normal human speed so that the experiment of the higher ups could be concluded. Now, Alexander ordered them to attack in full force.

Random Soldier's P.O.V:

I, Zin Shan, am a soldier in 35th Battalion. We were ordered to march to this remote place for unknown purposes. We reached here yesterday and few criminals were forced to enter a newly discovered tomb. None of them came back. We were ordered to prepare for battle. We dug the trenches, installed the machine guns and even tanks were deployed. A talk was going around the base that we have to fight the immortal army of the Dragon Emperor tomorrow. Some bastard had violated the tomb and now the immortal army was going to invade. Word was also out there that anyone who submitted to the dragon emperor would be spared. I did not believe in this. I thought that the higher ups have gone mad. At dawn, alarms began to blare and we were ordered to take our position. As I reached my position, I noticed that all of my comrades were unusually silent and quite a few were shaking. I looked towards the direction they all were looking and saw an army of people covered in mud were assembling in front of us. Then, I looked carefully and saw they were mud statues. There were thousands of them. The base was gripped in strange quiteness. Suddenly, some commotion was made but nothing happened. Then, I saw the opposite army moving towards us. At first, they were running like normal people but suddenly they starting moving very fast. We were ordered to attack so we attacked. Our bullets did not even manage to harm them. The only thing that could harm them were the tank's shots and machine guns. I was happy that they would be soon destroyed but then I saw a scene that filled me with horror, they reformed and started trying to dodge the shots fired by the tanks and machine guns. Some of them were successful and they threw their spears in the barrell of the tank. Then, the others copied them and we started losing ours tanks. Their spears also reformed after getting damaged. Then, they collided with us. They massacred the soldiers standing in front of me. They tried to run but they were faster. I also tried to run but felt something pierce my chest. I looked down and saw a spear sticking out of my chest then I lost conciousness.

Alexander watched as hundreds died in the first collision with the terracotta army. Alexander ordered the soldiers who had submitted to him to shout out to others that submitting to dragon emperor would save them. Alexander also ordered General Wang to convince his higher ups to surrender so that the lives of soldiers could be saved. Alexander saw that the higher officials were not ready to submit. In the end the complete loss of 25 Battalions convinced the officers to give up and they ordered the soldiers to submit. Then, Alexander ordered the terracotta army to move towards the nearest city which he had already conquered. He planned to stage a massive play. At first the soldiers defending the city would put up a genuine fight and when their lines would be breached, they will quickly submit. This would be recorded and displayed on the national channel, the people would panic and Mao Zedong would reveal the whole thing to the people of China in the name of transparency, good faith and guilt for the death of so many soldiers and encourage people to submit to the dragon emperor but this broadcast would be limited to China only. As the terracotta army was a few hours away from the city, Alexander decided to simply enjoy the view from the top of Mt. Everest. Alexander thought, " I would implement the next phase of my plan when the terracotta army would reach the city till then I will meditate."

As Alexander was meditating, the higher ups who were not in the know were panicking because nothing was working in stopping the terracotta army. They had drops bombs and had placed mines but the army simply reformed. The submitted soldiers were ordered to enter the tomb but were ordered by Alexander to stop before the instrument and Alexander also made that no traps would harm them. Soon, some fellows who had not submitted tried to enter, Alexander threw them out violently, resulting in few broken bones. The soldiers reported that they had reached the instrument but not a single one could go any further. The Chinese government send 30 more Battalions to guard the tomb.

All these happenings were reported to the foreign countries through spies. They also started making some of their men to submit and then try to enter the tomb. Alexander gained few hundred followers due to this. As the terracotta army neared the city, Alexander then stood up and took out an ancient book from his robes. Alexander thought of the conversation he had with Zi Yuan a few days before.

A FEW DAYS AGO:

As the O'Connells were carried out of his throne room. Alexander mentally contacted Zi Yuan.

Alexander, " Zi Yuan!! I wanted to ask you something."

Zi Yuan panicked, " Whose there? Show yourself."

Alexander replied, " Zi Yuan, I am you king. This is one of my powers. I can speak to my subject in his mind."

Zi Yuan, " Greetings, your majesty. I was simply surprised."

Alexander, " I wanted to ask something. When you cursed the dragon emperor and his army, what did you do?"

Zi Yuan, " I simply read the verses and directed the curse to effect the emperor and his army."

Alexander, " What is the range of this curse?"

Zi Yuan, " I don't know."

Alexander then ordered Zi Yuan to send the book with which she cursed the dragon emperor to him. Alexander then bound the book to the kingdom. As a result, he completely understood the book. The book contained many useful things also. Spells to bless the land, enchant the armors, causing rain, causing plague, etc. The book contained magical spells but these spells were not that useful as the magic was limited only to this world. The book depended on the world's law to operate so it would become useless in other worlds. But this book can serve as a guide to develop powerful spells and rituals whenever he conquers a higher level magical world. Alexander then thought, " When the terracotta army would be revealed to the world, they would be afraid but ultimately deem it as a problem of distant land. They would believe their governments and would choose to bury their heads in the sand so that their lives could continue as normal. The only way to make these people submit is to make them aware of the mystical side of the world and give them something to fear. " Alexander had brainstormed for many hours before forming a workable plan.

PRESENT DAY:

Alexander thought, " Now is the time to implement the second stage of my plan?"

Alexander opened the book and injected king's might into it. Initially the book was capable of influencing an area of 100 miles. But with the weakening of world's law, it could only influence an area of 50 miles. Alexander now had to nearly spend all of his king's might that he had recovered and gained to make the curse influence the whole world. Alexander could only increase the area to such a extent because of weakened world's laws. A world law takes thousands of years to gain strength so Alexander had no fear of any retaliation. Also, as more parts of the world were conquered, the laws further weakened. Alexander casted the same curse that Zi Yuan had casted on the dragon emperor and his army in the past. The target of Alexander's curse was murderers who had murdered innocent people in cold blood and rapists. Alexander felt his curse taking effect and he ordered the news outlets he had conquered to begin their work.

Alexander's plan was divided in five stages. First stage was the invasion of terracotta army; Second stage was the curse and the Third stage was the spreading of the news of these strange happening by the news outlets; Fourth stage was the truth of the second world war which would be released 3 days after this and Fifth stage was the revelation about the terracotta army and their sparing of those who submitted to the whole world after 2 days of the Fourth stage.

Alexander hoped that these events would force the various governments to reveal any mystical items they had to public in order to quell the terror and anger griping the public and to stop the riots that will surely happen, if not then Alexander would make them happen. Alexander could not wait to see the result of his handiwork.
