Chapter 94: Scouting, Capture and Meridians

Ten recon droids were send out to fully map the surroundings. The droids were shaped like birds and equipped with small blasters. These droids could also record videos and bring back the images. While, the droids were scouting the land, Alexander sat down on the ground and started his meditation. Alexander's kingdom had more force than the star wars galaxy right now, as all the force released by his subjects was concentrated in between the three celestial bodies.

Alexander had during his 100 year long meditation session had managed to awaken another 36.5 Trillion magic cells bringing the total awakened cells to 137.5 Trillion cells. Alexander had nearly cried in frustration as his body had 76 Quadtrillion cells and he after nearly 400 years of meditation had awakened only 137.5 Trillion magic cells. If his rate of advancement doesn't increase, it would take him 210,000 years to become a god of magic. The only good news was that awakening every billionth cell added one year to Alexander's lifespan.

His draconic heritage made it that he would live for hundreds of thousands of years so Alexander was not going to die soon. This was not taking into account that a king exists as long as his kingdom exists so Alexander was essentially immortal and was going to advance quite comfortably. It was just that Alexander had not lived for that long so he was balking at the thought of such a long time.

Alexander was brought out of his thoughts as the droids returned back to the kingdom. The droids were checked for damages and none were found till now. The images were extracted and examined. Samuel, the shrewd guy came up to him and reported, " The droids have covered a radius of 3,000 kilometers. One of the droid was attacked by a small bird but no harm was done to it. The droid fired the blasters but only the furs of the bird were slightly burned...These blasters are capable of seriously injuring a human being but nothing happened to the small bird. The droid then emptied it's entire payload on the bird and the bird fled after expriencing some major burns after repetitive hitting on the same spots."

Alexander grew serious and replied, " I have already told you the increased gravity of this world has made the bodies of the inhabitants stronger than you can imagine. Show me the video of the fight." Samuel passed a datapad to Alexander and he played the video.

Alexander watched as the droid was passing over a small forest when it was attacked by a bird. The bird attacked suddenly and with ferocity from below. The bird was light green in colour with orange eyes and was half a feet long. The bird couldn't see the droid but it could somehow sense the movement of droid and determine its position. The evidence of it was present in the video, the droid had tried to escape and was able to retreat back quickly due to it's sheatlh protocols. The bird frantically searched around after the initial disengagement and then suddenly stilled. The bird seemed to be concentrating on something and then turned to look towards the escaping droid.

The bird screeched and gave chase. The droid fired it's blasters and the bird due to its speed was not able to dodge, the bird staggered but only it's furs were slightly burned. The droid was equipped with CQC so it reacted according to circumstances, and emptied it's entire payload on the bird. It's advanced computing power allowed the blasters to repeatedly hit the already injured parts. The bird finally retreated after that and hid in the canopy. The droid returned back to the cave after that. The video ended after that. Alexander watched as the video ended.

Alexander looked up and said, " What have we found?"

Samuel replied, " The droids were send in all the eight directions to scope out the surroundings while two tried scan the already scanned areas for any hidden resources. This planet is at least 100 times denser than Earth. As the droid was not as advanced enough, we were able to probe only 5 kilometers deep inside the ground. The density of ground increases as one goes further down. We found huge deposits of metals deep underground. The geologists theorise that these metal are much denser than the deposits of our kingdom. We also found 15 villages. The size of villages is equal to human towns. This world is truly vast. We scouted 3,000 kilometers in radius and found that we were still in plains and slight hilly area. One of the droid spotted a very large forest in the distance but did not scout there."

Alexander said, " Send a droid as high as possible and click images from there. This world has four continents and a vast ocean. The continent we are currently on is called Snow Wind Continent. Others are called Star Cloud Continent, Ten Directions Continent and Bedlam Lands. Snow Wind Continent alone is at least 100 times bigger than Earth. The size of a world in cultivation verse is much larger than you can think. Did you spot some small groups of natives?"

Samuel said, " Yes!!! A small group of people were spotted entering the small forest before the droid was attacked."

Alexander replied, " Send droids to monitor their location. We have waited long enough. Prepare the Rancor-class tranculizers and equip the droids with it. We can going to capture some natives."

GERNERAL P.OV.:

A group of five men was seen existing from a small forest. The youngest of them was looking quite excited as noticed by his bouncing feet. The young man looked towards his leader and said, " Big Brother Han!!! You were so brave and strong. You tackled that beast and was able to kill alone. It even had a beast core. I also want to do the same one day."

The man in question smirked and said, " You are still quite young for that, Ji Shan. You should cultivate for some more time before attempting such dangerous moves. That beast was nothing. My real aim is to go to Silvermoon Forest and hunt there."

Another man spoke up in a ridiculing tone, " Han Shen!! I have heard from the village chief that cultivators who are above Warrior realm go there. You are only a early eighth order warrior and your martial spirit is Iron back Bull which is Grade 8, it will take you decades to reach the peak of warrior realm and after that breaking through the next realm is quite difficult. So, I don't think you will be able to hunt in Silvermoon Forest in this lifetime."

Han Shen gained a livid expression but before he could retort he felt a prickling pain on his back and started to feel faint headed. Han Shen, with his remaining strength shouted, " AMBUSH!!! POISON!!!" and fainted after that. His companions turned vigilant and formed a circle around the now fainted Han Shen. A man observed Han Shen's back and easily saw a dart like object. The man spoke in a quite voice, " Han Shen was struck with a poison dart. The poison must be quite strong to down a strong warrior like him. We should remain vigilant for any such future ambush."

Everyone nodded and started concentrating on their surroundings. Suddenly they heard a small 'HISS' sound and looked down to see several round objects near their feet, releasing blue smoke. They all simultaneously kicked the round objects away but felt prickling sensations on their backs and Ji Shan said before fainting, " They tricked us." After that, they all lost conciousness and fell on top of the already fainted Han Shen.

Several cloaked figures revealed themselves and quickly approached the fallen men. These figures were eight foot tall. They were the Ballsatians which Alexander had send to capture the natives as no organic lifeform except Alexander was able to withstand the gravity of this world, right now. The men took out syringes filled with blue liquid and struck two at every fallen men's back. They collected the smoke grenades which the natives had kicked away. Then, they put the fainted men on their shoulders, activated their cloaking devices and beat a hasty retreat.

FORTIS KINGDOM'S SECRET CAMP, ENDOR:

Alexander watched the Ballastians which were swiftly returning back to the cave and said, " Employ the droids to keep watch on their surroundings. The forest is 200 kilometers from the cave and Ballastians are running at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour. They will return with our guests in two and a half hours. Are the proper containment facilities prepared?"

A cloaked man stepped out of the shadows of the tent and said, " Yes, Your Highness. All the testing tools are also prepared. The Imperial Punishers are quite excited at the thought of more durable test subjects." Nearly, everyone except Alexander shivered at the thought of The Punishers being happy.

Alexander turned to look at the cloaked man and said, " Tell them to wait. They will get many subjects in future."

There were no mishaps in bringing the captives back. The captives were contained and were continuously being sedated. Alexander was worried that the cultivators may develop a immunity to the sedatives administered by his people and asked them to stop continuous sedation. Alexander stepped inside the containment and approached the man lying there. Alexander placed his hand on the native's head and used his ability 'Copy''. This ability was the one that every king has.

Alexander felt his King's might draining away as he felt the innate ability of practicing cultivation through Meridians and the innate ability to have a martial spirit being copied from the cultivator. Alexander also copied the meridian system from the native. Alexander then examined every captive and found no difference in the meridian system. Alexander didn't incorporate these abilities into himself as he wanted to first become a dragon. Alexander shifted to the platform and integrated the three items into the fire of civilization.

Alexander then transferred this information to all of his subjects. All the 80 quadtrillion people living on his kingdom accessed the fire of civilization almost simultaneously and gained the two abilities. The species who didn't have meridian system also took the ability of having a meridian system. Alexander sensed as his non-human subjects expreienced slight discomfort as their bodies gained a meridian system. There was no difference between their system and a human's system.

Alexander examined the meridian system and and bodies of the natives for a few hours and then arrived at a conclusion. Alexander turned towards the scientists and said, " I have examined them and have arrived at this conclusion. I can be wrong so cross check my theory. According to my observations, the 12 meridians are like ponds and the various channels are like streams. The martial spirits are the medium through which the outside spiritual energy is absorbed and the channels transfer the absorbed energy to the meridians. This transfer is not leakage proof and the leaked energy gets absorbed by the cells of the body, making them stronger and denser. This is why the cultivators have such strong bodies. The whole body breaks free of it's genetic restraints as a cultivator advances to the next stage and order. This continues till he reaches the peak of Warrior realm.

The peak of the warrior realm is the peak of a cultivator's body in this world. This is applicable to all the species which are capable of cultivating. After that a evolution of being occurs which requires immense amount of energy. That's why cultivators with low grade martial spirits are not able to advance beyond the warrior realm easily. Every realm after the warrior realm is a major evolution of being which requires increasingly higher amount of energy. The amount of energy present in the surroundings also plays an important role in advancement. You cannot extract water from a dry well. In spiritually rich worlds, the average cultivation is saint realm so spiritual energy also play an important role."

Alexander let out a breadth and said, " We will need to examine more cultivators of different realms and species to check the validity of my theory. But, we need to make these people submit to me so that I could easily read their minds. Call in the sadists, they will convince these people. All this excitement has drained me so I am going to rest. You should all also rest too, we have plenty of time to get our answers." Alexander then shifted to his room, tidied himself up and went to sleep.
