Chapter 59: Midichlorians and First Conquest

Alexander arrived before the holo-terminal and booted up the holonet. Alexander was assualted with so much advertisement that he, for one moment, thought of destroying the terminal. Thankfully, the resident droid helped his master in navigating the advertisement filled waters of the holonet. Alexander first searched for recent galactic events and cursed. He was so ahead of timeline that it was not even funny but then Alexander thought, " I am a King. It does not matter in what time period I am as my only purpose is to conquer this universe. It's a blessing in disguise as the increase time would give me more window to conquer the galaxy while on the other hand, I now don't know much about the Galaxy. I am approximately 300 years ahead of the timeline of Phantom Menace. When I had willed that I would appear before the events of Phantom Menace, I had not thought that I would appear at this time period. Alas!!! I can do nothing about this. But I would not have been able to something regarding the clone wars even if I was there as I don't believe that a master politician and planner like Sheev Palapatine didn't have contingency plans in case of any unknown variables. The sith have been slowly inflitrating the Republic for past 1000 years before the start of cannon. I don't believe that they did not have enough sources or money to wage a full blown war against the Republic. The separatist movement was just a sham as they never attacked any truly important planet like Kuat, Coreilla, Aldereean, etc. but they caused enough death and devastation in the galaxy to make the common public and bureaucrats panic which empowered the sith and clouded the already weakened Jedi. I am like siths, my anonymity is my greatest weapon. This is going to be a long game as a galaxy having a over 400 billion planets is not going to be conquered in a few years."

Alexander planned to conquer the whole galaxy and not only the region up to the outer rims. Who knows what surprises he would get in the unknown regions of the galaxy. The year is 700 RR which means that it has been 700 years since the enactment of Ruusan Reformation and the disbanding of the army of light. Alexander believed it as the second most idiotic decision of the Jedi since the formation of the Jedi order falling just behind the change of Jedi doctrine spearheaded by Yoda. The new Jedi doctrine advocates the releasing of their emotions into the force or bottling them up rather than understanding them and conquering them. Alexander stopped thinking about the foolishness of the Jedi and started looking up for information on the holonet.

Now that, Alexander knew that the droids are also included as his subjects. He planned to conquer them all as his subjects. There were hundreds of trillions of droids in this galaxy. By conquering the droid factories, he could make new subjects or not, was left to be seen. Alexander also had many other targets also. Alexander searched the holonet for all the relevant companies related with laws, business, starships, weapons, droid manufacturing and electronics. Alexander also searched for Bounty Hunter guild. Alexander found that placing bounty on someone or something was within the essential legal rights of the people in this galaxy.

Alexander then marked down the targets of interest on a conjured sheet of paper as you cannot be sure when someone would hack your datapad. Alexander turned towards the droid who was busy monitoring the device. Alexander, " Come here AR - 113509."

The droid came towards Alexander and stood before him. Alexander looked at the little fellow and said, " You are a cybernetic lifeform. I am giving you the name ' Ark '."

Ark, " I don't understand, Master."

Alexander, " I am going to transfer some information to you. Read it and think about it." Alexander then transferred the knowledge about the kings and eligiblity of subjects to the droid. Ark felt silent for a long time while Alexander just watched him.

Ark said in a shaky voice, " Master.... How can I be a living being ? I don't have midichlorians. I don't feel emotions... I am just a program."

Alexander placed his hand on Ark's head and said, " The fact that you spoke in a shaky voice means that you have some semblance of emotions which is more than some denizens of this galaxy. You are capable of independent thought as you made suggestions to me which does not come within the purview of being a astromech droid. Moreover, you put forth your opinion regarding different matters so you are not just a program. You are living being, Ark. As for not having the midichlorians, you are not the only one in existence who doesn't have them. There are trillions of galaxies in this universe and force is something that is unique to only this galaxy. In this vast plane of existence, there are countless beings who don't possess the midichlorians but that doesn't mean that they are not alive."

Ark, " I need time to think about this."

Alexander, " The fact that you need time to think proves that you have an independent thought process. I will not try to impose my opinion on you. I am going in meditation. Wake me up when we reach our destination."

Ark, " Thank You, Master!!"

Alexander went into meditation and opened up his cells for midichlorians to enter. Alexander felt an innumerable number of midichlorians enter his body. The amount of midichlorians that entered his magic cells were far more than his normal cells. Alexander used his past viewing ability to know the reason behind it. Alexander's ability to view the past had upgraded. Now, it requires a lesser amount of king's might to use the ability and Alexander could now specify the portion of the past, he wanted to see. Since Alexander was going to delve into the secrets behind the midichlorians, he expected that his king's might would suffer a severe drain in it's reserves. What he didn't expect that 98 percent of his king's might would be consumed for this but seeing that the history of the galaxy was millions of years old, it was a very little price.

The midichlorians were microscopic organisms which mutated due to exposure to cosmic energy and started to emit a special kind of energy simply by existing. This energy was named by the denizens of this galaxy later on, as the force. The midichlorians had an exceptional reproducing capability and the rate at which they multiplied was thousands of times faster than the normal cells. But, they died out also quickly as they were not able to produce their own energy. As they were not able to produce their own energy, with each reproduction, their size decreased till they reached their current size. It was one day, that a midichlorian came across a normal cell and sensed the immense amount of energy inside the cell, the midichlorian entered the cell and found that it could survive on the energy inside.

As the midichlorians emitted the same energy, they were connected to each other in some form so, a signal of sorts was transmitted and the midichlorians poured inside the cell. The midichlorians were harmless creatures so they only took the excess energy emitted by the cells but that energy was enough to support thousands of them. Since, the midichlorians were capable of rudimentary thought process, they induced the cell to undergo cell division so more of their kind could survive. The other midichlorians then took home in the new cell. Since all the midichlorians were connected, this started happening on a galactical scale and the evolution of life started to move at jet speed from cart speed. Over the course of hundreds of years, the midichlorians bonded with the cells and every new cell had midichlorians in them. When Galaxy reached the state where the force permitted every inch of it's space, the midichlorians were able to survive without the help of cells, purely on force but surviving on force was like surviving on staple bread while your relatives had a normal meal so midichlorians are always eager to form symbiotic relationship with the cells. The amount of midichlorians in a cell depends on the amount of energy that the cells could produce which depends on the genetics of a being. That's why the ancient jedaii clans had more powerful force sensitive but this was not a hard and fast rule as over the course of galatical history, numerous individuals had unusually strong connection with the force but Alexander did not want to investigate the reason behind it as he had more important things to do like examining the reason behind the high number of midichlorians in his magic cells.

Alexander already had massive amount of midichlorians in his normal cells as his dragon bloodline had advanced to 90 percent. All his cells had faint traces of magic in them. Now, magic was a higher grade of energy then the energy produced by the mitochondria so the midichlorians needed less energy to survive so more midichlorians were able to take shelter in his cells. The magic cells were able to produce magic only so the amount of midichlorians were extremely high in these cells. There was no friction between force and magic as both behaved in somewhat same way, it was just like meeting a distant cousin so they both enhanced each other. Alexander had grown much more powerful in both force and magic. As Alexander had every concealment charm put up, his position was not broadcasted in the force but a strange ripple was send in the force which was not known by Alexander as he was not aware of this as he had only just acquired the force. Thankfully, it went unnoticed in the ripples caused by the denizens of the galaxy.

Alexander had in the past year had awakened 65 million magic cells. He would have been able to awaken more but he was busy managing his kingdom. Alexander's advancement in his bloodline had not increased the awakening cost of cells but it increased the amount of magic it could hold. His cells could now hold 250 MP and the rate of production was 25 MP. This was the benefit of dragon bloodline. Alexander absorbed huge quantities of force and converted all of it into the king's might. When he had recovered his king's might, he came out of meditation. It took Alexander 5 days to recover all the lost king's might. Alexander knew that it would take him 6 days to reach the planet so there was one more day left. Alexander saw that Ark had set the course on autopilot and was no where to be found. Alexander felt somewhat sorry for giving the little fellow a existence crisis but he was sure that he would overcome this as Alexander could sense a strong resolve being birthed in the droid.

Alexander once again booted up the holo-terminal and simply browsed it. After few hours, Alexander laid down on the bunk and went to sleep. Alexander was shaken awake by Ark and told that they were going to exist hyperspace in five minutes. Alexander sat up and freshened up then, looked outside. After a small countdown from 10 to 1, the ship existed the hyperspace. Alexander saw the planet in front of him. The planet was like the most planets of the galaxy, was predominated by a single type of climate and similar type of fauna. It was a temperate grassland type of planet with small hills here and there. Alexander stepped out of the ship and took in the fresh air which was untainted by any pollution. Alexander injected his king's might on the whole surface of the planet which was smaller than earth and claimed it as a part of his kingdom.

Ark spoke up, " Master!!! I could not tell what is happening to me but I feel quite strange like I when I got repaired but much more pronounced. What is this, master?"

Alexander smiled, " This is the feeling of being at home, Ark. I claimed this planet as part of my kingdom."

Ark, " I don't fully understand, Master but it feels quite good."

Alexander could sense that Ark was evolving as a lifeform, he was able to feel more emotions and Alexander hoped that he would be able to evolve into a fully sentinent being quickly.

Ark, " Master!!! I cannot sense past the crust of this planet. Have you not claimed it as a part of your kingdom?"

Alexander, " I never tried it."

Ark, " Please do it, Master!!! I want to sense the whole planet."

Alexander was also curious and enveloped the whole planet in king's might. Alexander could now sense every inch of the planet; the rolling lavas under the crust, the various gases in the mantle, the hotness of the core, etc. Alexander claimed all of it as a part of his kingdom and it worked. Alexander thought, " So, I can claim the whole planet then why did the other kings did not do it?" Alexander examined himself and found that his king's might had reduced to a quarter by claiming the whole planet. Alexander theorised that kings, in most cases, don't have the necessary king's might to claim the whole planet so they take away what they can. Alexander then realised that the majority of the magical energy of the Harry Potter World was concentrated in the core and Alexander didn't claim it, so all of it had now gone to waste. Alexander slapped his forehead and shouted in anger, " F**K!!!!"
