Chapter 52: War with The East (Part 3)

Rina woke up to find herself in a white room. She tried to get up but found herself unable to move. She looked around and saw that she was imprisoned in cuffs which had runes on them and were also bolted to the surface on which she was lying. The surface was softer than a bed, making it comfortable to lay on.

Rina thought, " Where am I? The last thing I remember is that my entire team and I were waiting for our deaths to come but suddenly a silver pillar of light came into existence and an immense magical pressure descended on us. I immediately lost conciousness after that. What was that light? Did we trigger some sort of extremely powerful magical artifact? Where are my teammates?"

As Rina was thinking hard about the events before her fainting, she heard the opening of door and saw a middle aged woman with a kind face entering the room. The woman on seeing her awake smiled and said, " Oh Dear!!! You are finally awake. We were quite worried as you were not waking up even after we treated all your injuries. We had thought that you had gone into coma due to the shock."

Rina asked in a wary tone, " Where am I? Why am I like this? Who are you?"

The woman replied, " I am Healer Smith and you are in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, Great Britain. You are like this because we had to make sure that you don't move even an inch as it would have further worsen your injuries. We tried to put various spells to restrict your movement but they were interfering in your treatment. Now, that you have awakened, I am going to release you." Healer Smith waved her wand while muttering something and all the cuffs came off and vanished.

Rina could feel her entire body aching with dull pain and she asked the healer, " What happened to me?"

Healer Smith let out a sad smile, " You were very injured, my dear. You had broken bones, ruptured muscles, injured organs, neural damage and on top of that, a strange magic was invading your body which caused hallucinations in your mind which caused you to spasm in sleep. That's why we bolted you. You are not the only one. All of the people who were exposed to the silver light have this strange magic invading their bodies so we had to apply this restraining method to all of them. The only difference is the extent of their injuries."

Rina, " For how long was I out? I had my friends with me. Where are they?"

Healer Smith replied, " You were unconcious for 15 days. That silver light injured many people both muggle and magical so every injured person was admitted in the hospital which had free healers. The extent of injuries on the patients was too great so a full time healer was appointed to each magical. Poor Muggles!!! Many died on the spot and many are handicapped for life. We cannot even discretely heal them as we ourselves are swamped in work."

Rina was now worried about her teammates and friends, " How can I find them?"

Healer Smith, " You don't have to worry, just write a letter to each of them and post it. The owl will find them. If they are awake then they will reply and if they are unconcious then their healer will reply. What's your name?"

Rina replied, " Rina."

Healer Smith, " Rest for now. I will bring the parchments for you on my next visit."

Rina knew that nothing can be done for now so she just laid down and started thinking plans of contacting her teammates and reporting to the higher ups. Healer Smith came out of Rina's room and reached her office. She sat down on her seat and send a patronus to someone.

Alexander was sitting on his miniature throne in his first mansion of the Harry Potter World, when he received a message from a patronus, " I am Healer Smith from St. Mungo. One of them woke up, your majesty." Alexander let out a smile and spoke up, " This will make things even more hectic for Eastern Magi." When Alexander had released his magical pressure, people all over the world had exprerienced it. Now, Alexander had to cover this up as his forces were not ready for full war with the Eastern Magi yet. The magus from the east was a proof of this. He had to send 50 magus to capture him successfully.

Alexander had transported all his men back to his base and ordered the Aurors to secure the eastern magi. The magi were then transported to different magical hospitals across the Europe. Alexander then took out the design of tomb that he had Evelyn construct in the mummy world to lure in the chinese soldiers. Alexander shifted the earth to reconstruct that tomb in this world. He then ordered the most sadistic persons of his empire to add their own touch. They laid down so many traps and ward that even Alexander himself began to doubt his own rate of survival inside the tomb. Then, Alexander placed the damaged artifact he got from the ancient dragon in the innermost section of the tomb inside a secret chamber.

Alexander then had the ministries declare it as the death zone and the reason given to populace was that nobody survived after entering the tomb. The ministry also erected numerous wards over there. All these movements were noticed by the eastern powers and they send their men to investigate the happenings. Alexander had allowed the information that some people that were found near the place of origin of the silver light, are being kept in different hospitals under supervision to be leaked to the opposition. Alexander wanted more eastern magi to enter his kingdom as he wanted to get a more accurate measure of their strength and tactics.

Alexander sensed when the eastern magi again entered his kingdom. They had send massive force as there were 20 magus in this batch. This force was indeed massive when taking into account that there were not even a single peak crystal core magi in the western regions. Dumbledore and Grindlewald were in initial stage and Riddle was in middle stage. His elves had captured Riddle. Riddle had only made four little soul containers of his. Alexander had the elves find and destroy them and had Riddle burned alive for his crimes against nature and magic.

The newly arrived magus from east had immediately started to track down their fellow citizens. They had very skillfully inflitrated every magical hospital and quickly found out every one of their people. Aexander did not try to stop them and allowed the same incompetnence to continue which made western magi famous all over the east and America. It took them 3 days to find everyone. Then, all the magus converged on the French magical hospital where the magus who was in the earlier batch was being kept. Alexander started to listen to their conversation.

IN THE FRENCH HOSPITAL's ROOM:

A group of people entered the room unnoticed by everyone and surrounded the man lying on the stone table. A woman spoke up, " The sheer incompetency these westerners show is mind numbing. Such a huge incident happened and there is only a minimal increase in their security. Let's check up on Sindh's condition and also, we should start making plans to extract our people from here."

A older man continued, " Padma is right but first we should examine Sindh." He then, turned towards another man and said, " Jay, you are the best healer among us. You examine him."

The man called Jay stepped forward and waved his hand over Sindh's body. A hologram which is quite common science fiction worlds appeared showing the internal parts of the body. Jay after examining the hologram for few minutes spoke up, " There is nothing wrong with his body but there is a strange magic which is present in his body." He continued while pointing towards some parts of the body which were shining in silver colour, " These are the parts where this strange magic is residing. The magic effecting his bodily functions making him undergo a artificial deep sleep while the magic present in his brain is showing him hallucinations."

The old man said in a awed tone, " You were able to know much by just examining the magical representation of his body."

Jay let out a embarrassed laugh and said, " No, Elder. I send my magic into his body to evict the foreign magic. I am basing my observations upon the reactions I got from this foreign and strange magic." Suddenly, a patronus appeared in the room and delivered a message to the old man. The old man's face turned serious and he said in a grave tone, " The head of the team, we had send to check on the children and gave back their report. Their condition is not good. Due to the magical pressure released by that light, they have suffered severe injuries. Many of them are on their deathbeds. The western healers are trying their best but only a few will be able to fully recover."

Padma said in a worried tone, " I don't want to even think of the magical pressure that they exprerienced to land in such a state. Even we felt that enormous magical presence from our home. Poor Children!! We should help them."

The old man turned to Jay and said, " I want you to heal the little ones. Sindh is stable and has no injuries. You should go and help them."

Alexander watched as the magus called Jay healed all the eastern magi starting from the most serious ones. It took him 3 days to heal all the injured as he made the local healers believe that they were the ones who healed these people. Alexander also ordered the Aurors to do routine check-up on the people to make the eastern powers believe that the local ministries were taking this matter somewhat seriously. Alexander watched as they made base camps on his kingdom and laid down many unfamiliar wards. Alexander copied all the ward schemes and their effects and send it to the R &D Department for research. Alexander also saw then reporting to their superiors. Jay was ordered to deeply examined the foreign and strange magic. The magic was Alexander's own magic mixed with his king's might which placed the receivers into coma and showed them whatever the owner wanted them to see in form of hallucinations. As the inherent magic of the magi was resisting his magic, Alexander expected his magic to come to an end soon. Alexander expected the magus to awake first and the rest to awake later on.

Jay had also made the same observations and forwarded his report to the higher ups. They were told to wait for their people to wake up before extracting them. Alexander saw as the magus called Sindh, after 4 days slowly started to wake up. Alexander thought in anticipation, " According to my observation of the multiverse, this scheme of mine would never fail, especially in cultivation worlds. After all, who does not want the riches buried inside ancient tombs? This is going to be very interesting."
