Chapter 114: The Meeting
The meeting was held three days later in The Royal Arena. Alexander was sitting on his miniature throne, placed on a raised dias, in the centre of the Arena, watching as all the people invited to the meeting, concentrated on the information provided to them on the datapad. Alexander didn't want to prolong the meeting, simply, gave them all the information that he had. He did this because he wanted them to form their own opinions.
Generally, when the high-profile meetings are held in companies, the majority of employees go along with the decisions of their higher-ups. It was not that they didn't have good ideas but they get afraid about what will happen if their idea is not good or worse, what if their idea was better than their bosses. That's the reason that in recent times, on Earth, emphasis was being placed upon the formation of positive work environment since he had never gone to work, he didn't know if there was any change in the situation. He only know this much from the business magazines he had read, when he got bored of watching movies and animes. As for the Star Wars world, ordered assassination of overachieving employees by jealous bosses was quite a trend for some time, which killed any drive that employees had. Bootlicking became the way to move upwards. So, Alexander had all the horrible bosses thrown into the mines along with rich entitled brats, not for life but for few years.
He watched as his people digested the information given to them and then looked up towards him in awe for surviving such a fearsome tribulation. Alexander sighed and said, " The reason I have gathered you all here, is to warn you. This will not be the last time that such a thing could happen. The laws of the kingdom will not harm me but you all are a fair game. The laws will not hesitate to sacrifice you for their advancement. I will not be able to merge with the laws till they are completely formed and only after merging, I will be able to control them. Till that time comes, you will have to be very careful in other worlds. Hopefully, the conquest of origin verse will be enough to form the laws. Does anyone has any questions?"
A middle aged man stood up and bowed towards Alexander. He continued after straightening up, " Your Highness!!! How can we save ourselves if the laws go against us?"
Alexander replied, " There is no saving from laws if you are not powerful enough. However, the laws will not place an unsurmountable task before you, there will always be a way to overcome the odds. Well, if the laws are truly set out to off you, then, you are out of luck. But, in the end, only power matters, if you are powerful enough, you can overturn the heavens itself. Right now, the deal had already been fulfilled, so there will be no obstructions thrown our way by the laws of the origin verse but you all will still need to exercise caution. There are numerous dangerous places present in the origin verse. This meeting is to inform you about the possible dangers you could face in other worlds. Now, we will have to increase our speed of conquest of the origin verse. Minister Harak will tell us about the status of our campaign. "
Minister Harak stood up and said, " There are four zones in the origin verse. The four realms present in the 13 universes, are based upon these four zones. We are currently focussed on Zone-1. Those cultivators who have adavanced to Heavenly God Realm are right now, focussing on advancing to the next realm of cultivation in Zone-2. Each zone is bigger than the last in area and also has higher density of chaos energy and planets. The cultivators who are present in Zone-2, will be the spearheads in the next stage of our campign. We will move to Zone-2, only after conquering the whole Zone-1.
In Zone-1, it takes 3 months to conquer a world surface. In these five years, we have conquered 600 quadtrillion world surfaces in Zone-1. According to the reports of our people in Zone-2, the time of conquest has increased to 6 months there. We have conquered 100 Billion world surfaces in Zone-2. Further, conquest of Zone-2 is put on hold as the Heavenly God Realm soldiers, are busy in advancing their cultivation. Our conquest has been so fast since now, due to the absence of life in origin verse. This will not be the case in the 13 universes.
On this note, we have completely conquered another 1,000 galaxies in The Yellow Dragon Universe. Our forces comprising of the native cultivators suffered some losses during this phase of conquest. We lost 300 HighGod Realm cultivators in this war. This was because of one of the super forces which had an innate affinity with formations. They lured one of our battalions into a death formation and killed them off. They also lost 30 HighGod Realm Cultivators and around 300,000 God Realm Cultivators in exchange. We didn't let them go and killed them all off till the last man. We have also recovered all their secrets and knowledge.
The campaign in The Yellow Dragon Universe has been put on hold for five decades as according to our estimates, this will be the time that will be needed in order to make preparations for launching an assualt on 10,000 galaxies simultaneously. Moreover, this small war of ours have attracted the attention of the pinnacle powers of this realm, this time frame will be enough to put the heat off from us. Only if we were not busy with the conquest of the origin verse, we would taken over this entire realm in one decade. But, we cannot interfere in the cycle of fate."
Alexander cut in, " When the next batch of cultivators for campaign will be ready, we will wait till they all have adavanced to the peak of HighGod Realm. I will then, open the realm gate to other 12 universes. We will send a force of 2 quadtrillion to each of those universes, headed by a General. While the remaining 8 quadtrillion will continue the campaign in the origin verse. The makeup of forces in other universes is similar to The Yellow Dragon Universe, the only difference is the amount of spiritual qi present in the universes and the control that the leading forces of a galaxy have over their subordinate forces. In no universe, there is a unified force governing over it. We will be able to easily conquer millions of galaxies in a few months. This will increase the advancement of laws and also will give us massive amount of manpower. It was take 100 years for the next batch to advance to the required level for the conquest to begin. Till then, focus entirely on the campaign of origin verse. Does anyone else wants to ask something in relation to this meeting?"
Nobody stood with any questions so Alexander ended the meeting. As they were waiting for him to leave, Alexander spoke up, " It is possible that some of you will become the pillars of my kingdom in future. I had hoped that I would see more active participation on your behalf but you all were too afraid to offend me. I don't care if your views are different from mine. From next time, I want active participation in any future meetings from all of my subjects. The proceedings of this meeting will be made public and the man who stood up to ask questions, will be rewarded with 10 planets because he dared to do what none of you did. We will meet again when the conquest of the 12 universes will start. There will be many new faces among you by then. If you want to continue to be present here in future then, don't let the younger generation surpass you easily." After saying his piece, Alexander shifted away to his suite and thought, " The time for active search of Mother tree has come. I cannot ignore it's advantages. With increased population, the elves will fell short."
