Chapter 102: Training and Trials (Part 3)

Alexander replied, " I am too tired to even think about the implications of your previous statement. Who are you?"

The human looking fellow replied, " I am the will of this tower. Whenever someone manages to reach beyond level 90, I personally appear before them in order to tell them about their dragon fruit."

Alexander asked, " So, what did I get?"

The will replied, " You get the bloodline of the one who set up this whole tower. There is no other tower like this in all the 13 universes."

Alexander, " What about the origin verse?"

The will looked surprised and said, " So, you know about the multiple universes present in this plane of existence, Interesting!!! I will not ask how you know about all this but there is no life in origin verse and the way to enter is also not known to anyone. Now, the creator of this tower was the first dragon born from the Primordial Chaos. He was a vast and magnificent existence. He left behind this tower to find a successor."

Alexander, " Did he die?"

The will laughed and said, " Nah!!! He ascended to go beyond this plane of existence. Just before his ascension, he created this tower and gave it to his most promising descendents. Sadly, this incurred the hate and jealousy of the other descendents and a few thousand years after his ascension, a war broke out within the Dragon clan residing in the origin verse. The war over the years expanded to engulf the whole origin verse. When the dust settled, only 13 camps remained. The supreme leaders and top cultivators of those 13 camps gave their lives and souls to carve out a small piece of the origin verse and formed the 13 universes. The survivors moved to their respective universes and after several eons, the 13 universes are flourishing."

Alexander, " How did he ascend?"

The will replied, " By evolving his bloodline and advancing his cultivation to new heights. The cultivators of all the universes think that physiques are important but in reality, bloodlines are supreme. One cannot evolve his physique but bloodline can evolve. The creator of the tower was called ' Primordial Chaos Dragon' by the denizens of the origin verse..." The will pointed towards the dragon fruit and said, " This fruit contains the bloodline of The Primordial Chaos Dragon, if you survive than you will gain 1 percent of his bloodline, along with his cultivation technique and The Dragon Stone."

Alexander thought, " This Dragon Stone is giving me vibes similar to Infinity Stones. " Alexander asked, " Why will I get only 1 percent of the bloodline?"

The will snorted and said, " Do you really think that reaching to this level was this easy? When the Primordial Chaos Dragon created this tower, the path to first level was so dangerous that True Saint Realm Cultivators had zero survival rate let alone the upper levels. Nobody had managed to cross beyond level 60 in ancient times. But the Chaos Dragon had set up different levels of difficulty according to the percentage of bloodline received. Level 1 being the easiest and level 100 being the hardest, only I, the will of this tower can change the level. I had to change the difficulty level to the lowest over the course of time due to the weak trial goers."

Alexander, " Why did you do this?"

The will replied, " The purpose of my existence is to find the successor so I had to lower the difficulty as the trial goers got weaker and weaker over the course of time. One more thing, you have to do this without the help of healing formation."

Alexander let out a deep breadth and said, " I am ready." The will replied, " We will see that in a few moments. Now, take the fruit and eat it in one go."

Alexander moved towards the tree and simply plucked the fruit and quickly ate it. The fruit started releasing tremendrous amount of chaos energy and his bloodline was also getting devoured by the more prominent bloodline. Alexander knew that he would not survive the procedure if he remained passive, so he for the first time, actively used his 'Divine Adaptibility' ability and supplied every drop of his king's might and magic to fuel the ability. The chaos energy and the bloodline was tearing his body apart on cellular level while his ability was rebuilding the cells to be stronger than before. This constant break down and healing of cells caused unbearable agony to Alexander.

Alexander was so much pain that he was not able to even let out a single noise from his voice box. Alexander simply lied down on the floor and waited for the procedure to finish. Alexander didn't know how much time had elasped but when he regained his conciousness, he found an unimaginable level of power flowing through his body. Alexander experimentally punched the floor with his full might and a large crater formed due to the force of his punch. Alexander watched with astonished expression as the floor repaired itself within a blink of eye and became good as new.

The will appeared before Alexander and said, " You were able to dent the floor only because you have the bloodline of the creator. Don't do this again or you will not like the defensive features of the tower. Dragons can be very strict in discipling their young ones. Now, since you have the ownership of the tower, you would be able to take the Dragon stone and cultivation technique from the treasury. Come with me."

The will waved his hand and a black hole appeared, Alexander entered the black hole and found himself inside a large hall. They were no decorations and only two silver coloured podiums were present at the end of the hall. One podium had a crystal ball while the other had a dark stone. Alexander first stepped towards the crystal ball and touched it. The ball let out a golden light which entered his brain and the cultivation technique was imprinted there. The ball then crumbled to dust and vanished. Alexander then moved towards the stone and touched it, the stone let out a violet light and entered his body Alexander found the stone floating his soul. Alexander was quite freaked out by this. A new information was also made available to him. Alexander had to become a Ancient God Realm Cultivator before he could bind The Dragon Stone.

Alexander studied the cultivation technique and was amazed to find that he could advance without facing any bottlenecks if he had enough chaos energy and bloodline purity. The cultivation technique was divided into two parts, one dealt with advancement of cultivation while other dealt with advancement of bloodline purity.

The cultivation technique was developed on the principle of striking at the weakness. Every barrier has a weakness, the cultivation technique allowed the user to strike at the weak point of the innate bodily barrier that stopped the cultivator from advancing instead of bruteforcing your way ahead. The amount of control required over qi to do this was quite difficult to achieve for normal cultivators but Alexander's abilities made sure he would quickly become proficient in this. Moreover, the chaos qi required to do this was quite large thus one has to accumulate massive amount of chaos qi for breakthrough. The advantage of chaos qi was that as chaos was the highest level energy and could convert into all the lower energies, Alexander would be able to execute all the techniques in the universe except bloodline techniques. Also, Chaos energy automatically purifies the body and soul of the cultivator so Alexander was going to get many advantages out of this.

The technique for bloodline advancement caused quite a pain to the user as he reached higher levels and the amount of energy required to advance further increased with each advancement. There were some other drawbacks also. It was the bloodline purity which regulated the peak realm of cultivation of the inheritor. Ten percent bloodline purity allowed the inheritor to reach the peak of HighGod Realm, 30 percent to reach the peak of Grand Emperor Realm, 60 percent purity to reach the peak of Primal Ancestor, 90 percent to reach the peak of God of Universe and 100 percent to become Eternal. According to the information made available to Alexander, Eternal was the next realm of cultivation after God of Universe. The God of Universe exists as long as the 14 universes will exist but Eternal will exist even if all the universes get destroyed.

Alexander also would be able to sense the chaos energy present in the void and absorb it when his bloodline purity reaches high enough till then he would have to convert lower energies into chaos energy. The rate of conversion was quite steep. It would take thousands of Saint-grade Spirit stones to form one drop of chaos energy. As Alexander was contemplating his future steps, the will spoke up, " The Creator left behind some resources to help his inheritor as your bloodline advances further, you would be able to access more things left behind by him. To help you in your first step, Creator has left behind some chaos spirit stones for you. Follow me."

Alexander watched as another black hole opened and he stepped into it. Alexander arrived inside a small room which housed a small hill of white stones. The will spoke up, " These Chaos stones will be enough to help you advance your bloodline to 20 percent. After reaching 20 percent, you would be able to sense the chaos energy present in the void and absorb small amounts of it to help your advancement. As your bloodline purity increases, you would be able to absorb greater amount of chaos energy. Creator has all left behind a massive library. You will have to pass the tests of the library before you could access higher levels of knowledge. I will be leaving now. When you want to leave, call out to me and I will transport you outside."

Alexander asked, " How should I call you?"

The will replied, " Just call me Senior Will and I will come."

Alexander nodded and sat down near the hill of chaos stones and took a handful of stones in his hands. He started circulating the bloodline advancement technique. As the chaos energy started circulating his body and meridians, Alexander felt small pangs of pain but Alexander was able to ignore them as he felt himself growing stronger. Alexander closed his eyes and fully concentrated on absorbing the chaos energy.
