Overkill

*Ring Ring*

A boy sluggishly got out of bed picked up his phone and clicked the stop button. His name was Charlie. Today was the last day of school, and it overjoyed him. He took a shower, ate cereal and milk for breakfast, picked up his backpack and left for school.

"Bye mom"

"Make sure you don't do anything stupid Charlie"

Walking to school, he soon realized that he forgot his homework at home and jaywalked across the street to go back home and fetch it, that's when he saw a truck driving towards him and he ran as quick as possible to the other side of the sidewalk and successfully made it, heaving a sigh of relief, he was ready to continue home. Until he looked up and saw a meteor falling towards him

"What the f*ck" he said, then dashed away like a madman, unfortunately for him as he was running a pile of bricks toppled over and fell on him, pinning him down and breaking a few bones. That's when he saw the meteor changing course and falling towards him faster and a truck swerving towards him. Before he could even curse both the meteor and truck collided with him, instantly killing him.
