55) Surprise after surprise

When Ryker touched the crystal ball, light exploded out of it in every direction. Soon, every titan had a light string attached to them but before they glowed, they retreated into the ball and then shot through the roof of the white castle. No one had expected this outcome. Not even the titans knew what this phenomenon meant. He had an affinity with the universe? A universal affinity? Was he going to become a new titan in time? 

Everyone's eyes were glued to Ryker who after feeling the intense pressure coming from the 32 titans looking at him at the same time fell on his knees as the color drained from his face and a drop of blood started running down his nose. When they realized their gazes were too much for the young man, all the titans retracted their auras. Due to the shock, they had lost control and let their power leak.
