After chopping down several zombies, Maya felt something was off, as the number of zombies hadn't decreased. This was all thanks to the diligent Screeching Zombie. In the densely infested city, a screech could summon zombies from all directions.

Lin Wu pushed a table down from the second floor, and together with Maya, they used the table to block the staircase entrance. The zombie horde clawed frantically, and the table was being destroyed at a visible rate. The two immediately rushed to the third floor, entered an office, where Lin Wu used his Wind Stinger to kill two zombies, and Maya closed the door behind them. The pair then entered Stealth mode.
