100 Backup has Arrived

When Captain Jan finished his speech, an outrage ensued right away.

Even though Captain Jan was well-liked, it was mostly because he thought of his people first. His habit of prioritizing everyone's well-being made most of them like him, but right now, he was acting the complete opposite from usual. This caught some of them by surprise.

“Captain Jan, did you hit yourself in the head while on the way here? What do you mean it’s not the responsibility of Master Ryan to feed us? What nonsense are you talking about?” someone shouted.

“You want us to starve?”

“Even prisoners get to eat better food than us!”

They barely received enough barley bread and were greatly unsatisfied with it. They had grown hungry since they arrived.

“We came here for a quick mission in defeating the Stonefall Village, not to be treated like this!”

“Yeah. The food back at Baron Illus was better!”

Captain Jan Inan found himself getting annoyed with the protest and snapped.
