Chapter 18- Chelsea at Home...

Matchday...

Chelsea was doing at an all-time low this season, they spent around £400 million in the transfer market and still can't do shit, they've brought in players from random places with no chemistry and expected them to work together, that's not how football works, of course, this is the problem when you have a stupid owner/director of the club.

10th place and there was nothing for Chelsea to gain, they had already lost all their dignity and were among the lowest of the premier league teams, what a shame!

The theatre of dreams was packed with a lake of red as our fans piled into the stadium, a few dots of blue were seen in the stands, where the very few Chelsea fans who seemed to like the idea of getting embarrassed decided to sit. We wandered onto the pitch after the pre-match discussions in the locker room and I walked up to the ball for kick-off, instantly punting the ball to Bruno as the whistle blew.

Chelsea's plays were lackluster and the few chances they got were squandered, one of these being so close it was painful to watch, at least they held out more than Luton. Casi eventually put an end to Chelsea's advance and lobbed the ball out to Rashford who with no options in front decided to pass back to Casi, who then saw Garnacho on the right, virtually unmarked, I saw the intent in his eyes and I made the run...

Casi's lob found Garnacho's feet and the winger didn't have to think twice, threading the ball to me, I accelerated further and faked out Thiago Silva before smashing the ball past the keeper, Sanchez, and rushing to the corner flag to celebrate with Rasmus and the others, I did one of my favorite celebrations ever, the calma.

Play resumed and Chelsea seemed to want to switch up their styles and went all out on the attack, their midfield was pretty compact I would say, Enxo Fernandez was a good ball player, he demonstrated this fact, threading a through-ball to Mykhailo Mudryk who went out wide, trying to get past Dalot on the right.

Mudryk with no options left decided to go for a blind lob into the penalty area where Varane was...

Cole Palmer ran onto the ball but was pressed back by the defensive prowess of Raphael Varane, Palmer still tried to shoot, curling the ball around Rapha, but Tom was on it and his gloves tapped the ball away onto Luke Shaw's feet, who then passed down the line to Marcus.

We needed another goal with just 10 minutes left on the clock for the first half, Rashford cut the ball to Bruno, who tapped it to Casi, they anticipated a lob to Garnacho, but they didn't expect it to be passed back to Marcus, and with a wonderful lob, Rashford accelerated forwards past Reece James and crossed the ball to Rasmus, who tapped lightly, just enough to roll it to me and I smashed the ball into top bins, and once again ran to the stands, this time climbing onto the railings and standing with my arms wide apart. Another easy brace for Goaldin!

The fans roared as the celebrations continued, but play restarted for the last 3 minutes of the first half, but for some reason, when we least expected it Chelsea seemed to get energy from nowhere.

A pinpoint accurate pass from Mudryk to Raheem Sterling who shot past Dalot and worked his way around Varane, a streak of blue, a flash. Martinez blocked Sterling off in the penalty area and he was forced to pass back to Mudryk who saw something our defense didn't.

When Martinez rushed to the right to help Varane and block Sterling, a space was created, way too big of a space to be covered by Luke Shaw alone and I watched as Palmer ran into the space and trapped the ball at his feet from Mudryk and got ready to shoot.

Fans standing in shock...

"It's COLE PALMER!" screamed the commentators...

BANG!

SMASH!

CLANG!

WOOOSSSHHHH!

The ball clattered into the post and then the net and a little roar could be heard from the handful of Chelsea fans, but it was mostly dead silence as the Chelsea players celebrated and the whistle blew.

Did Chelsea Pose A Challenge After all!?
