The Beginning of the Conversation
Ahli stood among those men who technically had their upper hand again after he complied with the offer made by Boj, the horse man. Some of them still hold their weapon in a stance that partially indicated their hostility, even though some of them already dropped their guard, even though their staffs were still at their hand. It was unclear if they were confident enough that they could overcome Ahli, if he decided to take up a fight again, or if they were just being lax because Boj was there.
[Aren't they undermining us?]
It was hard to disagree with his second persona in this one. Yet, the air in the room was surely different from before.
CLANK!
The sound of a metal drop beside him made Ahli turn his head. He saw the white fur goat man picking up his spear from the ground. Was the spear fall once when he picked it up? Was this his second try at picking it up? Was the fall intentional? Trying to stir up Ahli's fear?
