145 Bael Territory

AN: Hmmm.

Light is but a temporary illusion. Only darkness is true and eternal.

Even a lifetime of desires is destined to settle in ashes. Only darkness is truly without an end. This dark flower of mine is the home of countless souls, and the symbol of eternal radiance and beauty.

Dance with them, and forever slumber in eternal darkness.

After talking with Wang Lei for some time, nestling into his chest and cuddling with him, Shizuku left for her room to change and relax.

After she left, Wang Lei looked at his side to see Ddraig sleeping, same with Albion at his other side. Being a dragon, both were inherently lazy so he couldn't really say much to them.

RIP*

As he was silently watching the TV, a scare extended in front of him. A woman that looked to be in her 20s came out of it. She looked around before her eyes landed on Wang Lei - a red glint passing from them.

"The noble one greets master," doing a little bow, Leiyan (Phoenix) bowed towards his direction.

Looking at her, Wang Lei smiled and said, "You are back. I was waiting."

Leiyan nodded, "I heard that this world has a linkage of Phoenix, or at least that is what they call themselves. This one is quite interested in meeting them."

"I heard from mother," Wang Lei nodded, "We will leave next week once summer vacation starts. Till then, you can familiarize yourself with this word."

Leiyan nodded before walking towards him and sitting on his lap, a little blush evident on her face.

Wang Lei didn't say anything and let her sit. Adjusting herself, grinding her plump butt to his little brother, Leiyan looked towards him with lust in her eyes.

It has been quite some time since she has spent time with him. Even though she will not admit it, she can still seduce him.

And that damn crow is not here, she can have her master all for herself - she thought.

Wang Lei looked at her before giving her a short kiss, "You've become quite a pervert since I was not there, I see."

Leiyan blushed but nestled more into his chest, "Though this one will not admit, you have indeed taken a place in this one's heart. And I like the f-feelings that you bring to this one."

Looking at her cute act, Wang Lei could only sigh in content, "Then let your master bring more of such feelings," he said before teleporting them away to his room for some steamy time with his little Phoenix.

---

A week has passed and nothing major really happened. Rias and Sona's peerage were working for their underworld visit and Gasper has still not come out of the Time Prison - let's call it that.

In this week, all Wang Lei did was spend his time with his girls and doing his daily teacher routine, nothing major. Except that maybe Victor now tried his best to avoid Wang Lei and anyone associated with him.

One night with Mil-tan was enough for him to understand that he should work on his plans rather than pointlessly pursuing girls that were already taken.

"Let's go," Wang Lei said as he snapped his finger and a portal emerged in front of him, leading to the unknown.

Leiyan and Ying'er, who were standing behind him, nodded and entered the portal with him.

Why Ying'er? Well, she said: it is the maid's duty to follow her master everywhere he goes. Her real reason was definitely not this, but Wang Lei didn't mind and just nodded at her - making his maid want to spend some 'quality time' with him.

The more time I spend with him, the more he will love me. Only then can I have all his secrets open to me - was her inner thought process.

It seems like she still has not given up on her idea of seducing him to do her bidding, but at this point, she was just finding excuses to be with him.

After walking for some time, they reached the other side of the portal.

Same as before, it was the purple-colored sky. The cold air with a gentle touch of warmness to it.

They didn't come with Rias and others since there was nothing much to do if he went with them, and he had different places to visit than them.

"Is this the underworld? There's not much different to it," looking around, Leiyan said before covering it all with her senses. She could tell that it was roughly the same size as that of the Human World but with exaggerated landmass.

Wang Lei nodded at her question before picking a direction and started to walk towards it. He didn't use any form of magic or spatial art but walked at a normal pace.

Leiyan and Ying'er didn't say anything and followed after their master silently.

The whole underworld was split into two regions: The Devil's Region and The Fallen Angel's Region.

Since it was not as populated as the Human World (credited to their low birth rate), both factions had, one could say, half of the earth for them.

And due to the exaggerated sizes of everything, it was definitely not easy to travel through it; on foot that is.

After all, Devils used teleportation most of the time to go from one place to another.

But none of it mattered to Wang Lei as he (silently) kept walking in a random direction.

"Where are we going, master?" seeing that they have been walking since morning, Ying'er asked.

Wang Lei looked towards the artificial moon before saying, "Where fate takes us."

"..." Ying'er and Leiyan silently looked, or more like, stared at him but he didn't even pay attention to them and just kept walking.

Since they didn't get the answer, they could only follow after him.

After a day passed, they finally could see a wall in some distance from them. They could see a giant castle from where they were.

Remember, everything was many times bigger here than the Human World. So if they could see a castle from such a distance, one could guess how big it was in reality. But then again, it was not as big as the one in Primal Chaos, definitely not enough to impress the Brahma Goddess and the True God.

Looking at it for some time, Wang Lei resumed his walk at the same pace. They met many devils along the way towards the city in front of them.

Most were working on fields as they were farmers. It still was an interesting thing to see devils working as farmers.

This was the first region they have encountered since entering the underworld that was filled with nature and different plants, definitely a beautiful place.

The most unique thing was that it was mostly filled with fruit farms of different shapes that one would not find in the Human World.

As they were reaching close to the gate of the town, Wang Lei's eyes fell upon a farm filled with trees of the same shape and, albeit a little different, sizes.

"Oh, are you a traveler here?" a shout brought him towards an old person wearing farmer clothing. He had some wrinkles on his face and dark brown hair. Even though he looked old, there was a certain charm to him.

"You can say that," Wang Lei nodded.

"I see," the old man nodded. He noticed Wang Lei's stare and found him looking at the apples-like fruit on the tree, "Oh, have you never seen a Bael Appel?" he asked.

"Bael Apple?"

"It seems like you've not," he nodded before picking one and throwing it towards Wang Lei, "Here, taste one. It is the specialty of Bael Territory. You too, young ladies."

Wang Lei and his maids curiously looked at the apple. It had a peculiar shape for an apple but definitely looked tasty to eat.

Wang Lei took a bite before chewing it slowly, savoring its taste. Seeing him, Ying'er and Leiyan also took bites.

"It is not bad," Wang Lei smiled. Even though it was called apple, its taste was vastly different from one.

Ying'er and Leiyan also nodded at his comment since it was indeed delicious. Both have eaten a lot of delicious fruits in their lives. After all, they both were considered goddesses of their time. What delicious thing they have not eaten? And yet these fruits gave them a different taste and sense of deliciousness.

"Of course, it is," the old man seemed to be pleased with their reactions before he went back to his little house beside the field and came back with a bag of apples in it, "Here. Since you guys are new here, take this as a welcome gift."

Wang Lei didn't shy away and took it before looking at the old man, "You said that it is Bael Territory, right? Do you know where Sairaorg Bael is?"

"Oh~! You are Sairaorg-sama's guest?" the old man exclaimed.

"Well, something like that," Wang Lei affirmed.

"If you are looking for Sairaorg-sama, then you should go towards that castle, though I doubt he would be home. Since the Youth Meeting is coming, he might have left for Lucifaad to attend it."

Wang Lei nodded before tossing a bag towards the old man and continued his walk towards the castle.

The old man, confused, checked the bag and found it filled with money used underground. Surprised, he looked towards Wang Lei but he has long left him.

"What a weird man," the old man rubbed his head before pocketing the money and went back to his work.

---

"Is there something special about Sairaorg?" Ying'er asked while following him, looking around curiously.

Wang Lei shook his head, "Nothing. I just wanted to meet someone he is related to."

Of course, Wang Lei would not say that he wanted to meet his mother. After all, like other weebs, he also wants to meet every character and see them with his own eyes.

Ying'er looked at him for some time but didn't say anything and continued to follow after him.

After a couple of minutes, they reached the city and entered it without any problems. The only thing would be that they attracted quite some attention to them. With two beautiful women by his side (with him being handsome too), it was obvious that they would get a stare or two.

Not minding them, he soon reached the Bael castle.

"Halt! State your reason to be here!" A guard standing at the gate shouted towards him.

Wang Lei ignored him and continued to walk, same with Leiyan and Ying'er.

The guard frowned before pointing his spear at him, "Halt before I use some extreme ways to do so."

Wang Lei stopped and looked at him before smiling, "Don't you know, a good dog never blocks away? Scarm before I hung your dog head on the same spear you are pointing towards me."

The guard didn't take it away instead he further pushed it towards him, "This is Bael castle. Unidentified individuals are not allowed. State your reason."

Wang Lei smiled before saying, "Slap him."

SLAP*

The guard didn't even process what was happening before he was launched towards the same gate he was guarding, breaking it and going further.

At the place of the guard, Ying'er stood with cold eyes enough to penetrate someone's soul and a smirk on her face. Bloodlust was evident in her eyes. If not for Wang Lei, she would have killed this devil for even blocking their way.

She was Brahma Goddess. No one has ever dared to even raise their heads in front of her and yet this little guard dared to block their way.

So what if he didn't know them. Didn't their doctrine was; might makes right? Should have known who the mightiest here before pointing his spear at him.

After all, they were from a cultivation world. Such things as who caused problems and for what reason didn't really matter. If you have strength, then you are right. As simple as that.

As the guard destroyed the front gate, it caused commotion throughout the whole Bael Castle. It was not long before they were surrounded by many guards, pointing their weapons at them.

"Look what you've done Ying'er. All I asked was to slap him, not to launch him and destroy the gate," Wang Lei said, shaking his head.

Ying'er's brow twitched in annoyance, "Forgive me, but my hand slipped."

"As long as you understand," Wang Lei smiled and pats her head, making her annoyed even further but the dance her tail was presenting was saying otherwise.

"Who dares to create problems in my territory!?" Wang Lei looked towards the young man standing, surrounded by other soldiers while looking at them with arrogance visible in his eyes.

"You are?" he asked.

"Humph! You dare to attack my territory and yet don't know about me? I am Lord Bael," he said proudly.

Wang Lei shook his head, "Don't know. Present someone who is worthy of my time, not some random dog barking about his marked territory."

"You…! You dared to call me, the Lord Bael, a dog!? Guards! Capture him!" His eyes burned with anger as he ordered the guards.

Wang Lei smirked, hearing his order, "Are you sure about that?"

Lord Bael ignored him and angrily shouted at his guards, "What are you standing there like some fucking dolls? Go, capture him and make him confess his crimes!"

Hearing him, they all moved towards the smiling Wang Lei.

"Confess?" he looked at him with a grin on his face, "This word isn't part of my vocabulary! While I have no intentions of killing you, get out of my sight immediately; as far as possible!"

The more he heard, the angrier he became. He was the Lord Bael, ruler of the Bael Clan. How can some random person come and ridicule him?

He raised his hand and a ball of PoD appeared on them. Looking at Wang Lei, he smirked before throwing it at him.

The guards hurriedly created distance as to not get caught in it.

"Leiyan," Wang Lei called.

Leiyan nodded before coming in front of him. She raised her hand before slapping the ball away. Her emotions didn't even fluctuate while doing it.

Lord Bael's eyes widened in wonder as he stumbled some steps back, "W-what!? How is this possible?! Who are you!?" while pointing at him, he shouted.

'He is very like a Chinese Novel troop,' Wang Lei shook his head after hearing him, he was already getting bored with him.

"I gave you a warning and you didn't appreciate it. You can only blame yourself for being stupid," Wang Lei said before walking in his direction with a slight smile on his face.

Lord Bael, seeing that he might have messed with someone he shouldn't, hurriedly shouted towards his guards to protect him.

The guards nodded before roaring towards Wang Lei. He looked at them before softly saying, <Die>, and just like that, the guards fell one after another with a hollowness in their eyes.

Ying'er, who saw this, had a terror climb her spin. She didn't know what happened, but she could tell that every guard was already dead in the vicinity.

To be able to kill them with just a single word, how strong was he? - she thought. She thought that her choice was right to not go against him once he unsealed her powers or she might end up the same way.

A moment later, he stood in front of Lord Bael who was looking at him with trepidation.

Looking at him, Wang Lei asked, "Now what? Who will you call now?"

Lord Bael looked at him before gritting his teeth. PoD ran rampant around him before he punched him.

BAM*

His punch landed on his chest, blowing everything around him but he stood tall. Wang Lei's clothes were blown away, but not a single scratch was available on his chest.

"Well, you tried I guess," raising his hand, he gripped his neck before raising him in the air.

Lord Bael gripped his hand, trying his best to free himself, "If you killed me, you will make an enemy out of the whole Bael house! I am the Lord of Bael house, killing me is the same as declaring war with our clan!"

"It is good then. What is the worst that can happen but that I'll have more people to kill and more blood will flow?" Wang Lei asked.

"Stop it Asgorath!" Just then, a middle-aged-looking man with black hair and peaceful violet eyes shouted to stop him.

Wang Lei looked at him and said, "Oh~, had enough of playing the games Zekram? I thought you would watch for a little longer and see the death of the current Lord of Bael."

Zekram frowned before sighing, "Indeed. I should have stopped him. But I wanted him to learn that there is always a greater mountain, can you release him?"

Wang Lei laughed, "Release him? Hahaha! You talk funny Zekram. Have you forget who I am and how I deal with things?"

Zekram looked at him with wide eyes, "You..!"

CRACK*

Zekram looked with disbelief as the lifeless body of Lord Bael fell onto the ground with a bent neck. He couldn't believe that Wang Lei killed his descendant in front of his eyes. He knew that Wang Lei was arrogant but even he thought that he would give him some face.

"What? Do you want to follow him too?" Wang Lei asked with a smirk, "It seems that people in the underworld have forgotten who I am. Take this as a warning. Since I have past ties with Bael Clan, I'll forget today's transgression."

He looked at Zekram and said, "There will be no next time Zekram. It would be either me or Bael Clan then, though who will be left is already clear."

"Do you think everyone is afraid of you, Asgorath? There are many people stronger than you," Zekram said with PoD flaring around him.

"Then why don't you try it? I don't mind you bringing the whole underworld with you and even other factions. I'll patiently wait for you to do so," not minding his warning, Wang Lei lazily said.

Zekram gritted his teeth before shaking his head and sighing. Though he was reluctant, he knew that it was indeed his fault. Even knowing how arrogant Lord Bael was, he still didn't intervene to stop him.

He also didn't want to start a fight with Wang Lei since he was considered as strong as the original Satan. If he fought him, even if he killed him, the cost would be too much to take in.

"Where are you here?" in the end, he sighed and asked.

"Good choice. One second later or your corps will also be here with him," Wang Lei said.

Zekram didn't reply.

"Well, it has been quite some time since I've come to the underworld so I thought I'll go and take a walk all around it, but some dog blocked my way. But since I am here, why don't we go and reminisce about our past? It has been quite some time since we've sat together and talked."
