chapter 2(new friend)

RIDHIMA

Abhimanyu Singh Rathore, A Mistery. I met him for the First time Yesterday but the way he was looking at me was as if He knows me from Years, He knows me inside out, They way he was Staring at me while I was Showing them all there rooms. And his Family, You know When it comes to these Big Joint Families na, I just fall in love with them. I don't know it's Because I Really like them, or Because I lost my own Family at the Age of 14, That was the Day I was Left alone to Deal with this World But in college i met Amara, Her and Her family is so good, They always treat me as a Part of Family.

As My Mind Drifted from Hukum sa to Amara, I wore my earrings properly. It's Her Mehndi, and I am Late For It.

I ran out to the Main Hall Where Amara was Standing with her Hands On her Waist.

"Ridhi, I was Waiting for You Yaar. Kahan thi Tu" Amara whined, I chuckled at her before Hugging her. (Girl, Where were you!)

"I was getting ready." I said, She nodded and Held my Hand and Dragged me to the Mehndi Artist. Soon The Mehndi Artists Started Applying

mehndi to her as Well mine and all the Ladies Hands.

Her Cousins, as well as The Kinds were dancing around as The music played in Background. Will you call me mad if I said I am Finding Solace in this Crowd?

"Ridhi Jiji." I turned back and saw Adhira standing there with her Hands covered with Henna.

"Hi Adhira."

"Hi, and Don't call me adhira, You can call me Adhi." She said as She settled beside me. We both talked about A Few Things Like Her college, Family Members, My Profession, etc.

After around Half more Hour My Hands were Covered with Henna, I stood up and Was about to Walk ahead when I tripped, I closed my eyes and was About to Fall on my butt, but That's when I felt Someone Holding me with their Arm around my waist.

"Dhyan se." I heard Abhimanyu's Voice and Opened my eyes with a Jerk, His fragrance reached my Nostrils making me Suck in a Breath. He was still looking in my eyes without Breaking Eye Contact. I cleared my Throat before Pulling back.

(Carefull)

"Thank you, Varna aaj toh humari sari haddiyan toot gyi hoti" I joked to which he chuckled and shook his Head, Wow He laughs too.

(Thank you otherwise all of bones would have broke by now)

"Ridhima beta." I heard my name being called, I looked behind him and Saw his Dadi standing there. I stepped towards her passing him.

"Ji Dadi ji?" She gave me a smile and settled on the nearby Couch before Patting the Space beside her.

"Come Sit here, You must be Hungry." She said, I just walked to her and Settled beside her. She smiled, and Fed me the First Morsel. God These people Met me This Afternoon, and They are so caring and Loving. I can't help but Smile Widely as She fed me. I am going to Saviour Every Moment of These Functions with This Family.

[ Later At Night ]

It's Sangeet Night Currently, All of Amara's Family Members Danced On Traditional Songs, Well That was Theme of Sangeet night, 'Traditional' As per Our Bride's Choice, Hehe.

"Come On Ridhi it's Your Turn now!!!" I heard Amara Scream Making Me Chuckle at her Cute yet Stupid Behaviour. The Lights went dim, Here we go.

ABHIMANYU

"Wohoo" Adhira and Avinash hooted as Ridhima walked to the Stage. The Lights went dim, We heard a Melodious Voice, The Lights Went on her As The Music began. She sings as Beautifully as She is Dancing.

' raghukul reet sada chali aayi... Pran Jaye per vachan na jayi....'

Her Melodious Voice, The Graceful Steps, Her Calm Nature, Her Beautiful Eyes. Her presence is making me Feel Something weird, something i don't want to feel.

As Her performance came to an End, the Whole Crowd was Ringing with Claps and Hooting. Everyone complimented her, Specially my Family which seems to like her very much. All of Amara's Cousins and family members went to the Stage, She seemed so happy Looking at Everyone when suddenly that girl from This Morning went to her and Said something in her ear making her smile wipe off. She gave her a Fake smile before She walked away from the Stage and Went inside the Haveli, I so wanted to go behind her, But Adhira suddenly stopped me and Started Speaking something, While My Eyes stayed in the way she went.

Next Morning

I walked through the Corridor, trying to find the Girl who is on my mind Since Last Afternoon, as well as the Whole Night. This Morning When I went to the Garden I saw it properly decorated in Yellow Theme and Whole Family there but The One I wanted to see was not anywhere. So Here I am, Looking for Her.

I walked to the Left side and suddenly Bumped into Her, I wrapped my arms around her Waist, Her eyes were closed thinking she will fall.

"You are Safe." I said, she opened her eyes slowly and Looked at me with those Beautiful eyes of Hers. I helped her Stand Straight.

"I am so sorry, humne dhyan nahi Diya. aap theek h na" She asked, Looking Embarrassed.

(I wasn't paying attention, Are you okay?)

"Aapko dhyan dena chahiye agar abhi aap gir jaati toh " I said more Like Scolded to which She looked down and Murmured a Sorry. (You should be careful what if hurt yourself like this)

"It's Absolutely Fine Ridhima, Now Let's Go?" She nodded and gave me a Smile as We both walked towards the Garden to Join the Haldi Ceremony.

Later At Night

Everyone has tears in there eyes as It was time for Amara to leave with her Husband, Amara hugged her Father and Mother Sobbing, She walked to Ridhima who also had Tears in her eyes.

"I will miss you ridhi." Amara said and hugged her, Ridhima hugged her back and Wiped her own Tears before Giving her a Big Smile.

"I am Always with you Amu, Now Go and Start Your New Journey With Jiju sa, and You Jiju sa, Take Care of My Amu." Ridhima said, Amara Chuckled and Hugged her More tightly before She walked away with her husband to Their Car.

Although Everyone was sad and have Tears in their eyes but It was Her tears that were Effecting Someone, And That Someone is None Other Than Abhimanyu, Who looked at her as If He just wants to Hide her From the World.

Even though he didn't said it out loud but his family could see the way he was looking at Ridhima.

After vidaai, The Environment was Very Gloomy as Everyone went back to either The Wedding hall, or their Rooms. While Ridhima Walked to the Terrace. She was standing there with Her Dupatta wrapped around her arms, and Tears in her eyes When She heard the Voice of Bangles and A Petite Body hugged her From Behind.

"Hume aap rote hue ache nhi lagte jiji sa, Aap humesha haste Raha kijiye " Adhira said making a Cute face making Ridhima smile a her.

(I don't like it when you cry Jiji sa, please always keep smiling)

"Hum bas thode udas h adhira. Humari only friend ki shadi ho gyi.. "Ridhima trailed, She didn't knew what to say.

(I am just a little said adhira she is my only friend and she got married)

"Amara Jiji is not your only friend jiji sa. I am also your friend i know i am 5 yrs younger than you but still i can be your friend, Right?" Ridhima gave her a Big smile before pulling her into a Hug.

"Yes you can be, Nice to meet you my new friend and my little sister." They both walked to Ridhima's room and Chatted for a Few Hours before They Drifted off to sleep.

Next Morning

All the Guest have went back except a Few Close Family Members, Currently Ridhima along with Singhanias were seeing off The Rathores as They are Leaving for Ajmer. They all walked to the Door when Aradhana stopped and Turned to Ridhima.

"Apna khyal rakhiyega beta.. hum aapse jald hi milenge" Aradhana said and Hugged Ridhima Before Walking towards the Car.

The whole Family Walked to their Cars as Settled in when Abhimanyu Turned back and Looked at Her, Maybe Capturing her Image thinking he will not Meet her Again, Only If He knew.
