Tatsuya loses consciousness because of pain in the chest, which is impossible because he was a program not to feel any pain, but he felt pain, especially when the pain came from his soul.

After he was physically hurt, his [Self-repair Spell] worked automatically as usual, but during the process, there was something unlocked.

And that something contains the extension of his soul, or, in other words, his past life memories.

Reincarnation is a complex topic, as it is said that when a person dies, the soul will go through a gate where it wipes out all memories and what defines it.

However, there are always exceptions to this rule, people who have a stronger soul than normal people, which is why sometimes there are people who will appear with a similar character to famous people in the past but without their memories.

Having a strong soul will more likely protect what defines who you are, and this is also the reason why Tatsuya does not have emotion.

Tatsuya saw this and put his hand on her head and started rubbing her head.

"You didn't cause me trouble Miyuki, I think there's something wrong with my spell." He said gently, as he got up on his feet and helped her get on her feet.

Tatsuya looked at his computer and looked back at Miyuki.

"So how's your CAD? Is there something wrong with this? Or is it causing you a headache when you activate a spell?" Tatsuya said that he had sat back in his chair and started working again.

Miyuki examined her CAD.

"Everything is perfect Onii-sama, the activation sequence feels faster and more responsive than before, as expected of Onii-sama," she said with full adoration in her eyes.

"You praise me too much Miyuki, I just remove all the unnecessary files from the previous updates"

"That's correct, Onii-sama is the only one who find this issue," she said with a smile, Tatsuya saw this causing him to smile also.

"Y-You smile. Onii-sama you smile!"

"Hm? Really?" As he inspects his face

"Yes! I think you should smile more Onii-sama"

"I'll try, now that I think of it" and looked at the time from his computer.

"It's already late, go ahead and rest first while I finish things here"

Miyuki nodded and moved upstairs.

Tatsuya closed his eyes by sorting the new memories he got, or more specifically, his past life memories.

He is confused as to who he is right now, is he Arthur Pendragon or Tatsuya Shiba?

the memories of his past life contain emotions that belong to Arthur, which is foreign to Tatsuya.

He also knows that she has a thing for him as the moment he got his memories, he also got his emotions back, and the way she looked at him was filled with so much love.

He also remembers his wife in his previous life and may be his wife, but that's all in name, as she is just his friend; he knew that her heart belongs to someone else, as the way his knight and friend died is one of the many regrets he has in his life.

He unsummoned his sword and thought that just go with the flow; after all, his sister liked when he smiled, causing him to unconsciously smiled, as he looked at the time and decided to head back to his room and call it a day.
