Blackmire Prince

Once upon a time, there was a Queen who gave birth to a prince in the Palace of Blackmire.

"He will be a good king someday," said the Queen with her warm smile until she died.

"Wait, no, don't leave me," the king cried in agony while the prince smiled at the king.

He glared while he tried to recover, but the Queen died accepting her fate.

"Guard, hide that child... wait a minute," he took a dagger from the table and stabbed the prince's throat.

"I don't want to hear or see him," he teared up.

"I don't want to see him or hear him... THROW IT, HIDE IT, DEPORT IT..." said the king with glaring eyes toward the prince.

"Yes, sir..." the guard bowed down and slowly went outside while carrying the prince, and he went to the cleric's room.

"Cleric! Can you heal the wound of this child?" the cleric looked at the prince.

"The Queen's son... What happened to his throat?" the cleric asked, slowly tearing up with worry. The guard explained to the cleric with a serious look, "She is dead while giving birth to this child... by the way, I will hide this kid from the king."

Said by the guard while guiding the cleric. After a long way of traveling, they saw a man wearing a coat, and they stopped in front of the guy.

"Hey, man... Do you want to have a child? I will pay you 15 silver for this child... Deal?" said the desperate guard, and the random commoner thought twice and said, "Ok... I think I can handle it."

The man traveled to the hometown and dropped the baby in front of the library.

"Uhhhh... If I knew how to handle a baby, I would be your father... I think you could be a great merchant," said the man, who tried to play with the prince's hand.

"This girl is my crush, and I think you will like her."

He left the prince at the front door of the library. The doorbell rang, and the man ran like a kid.

"Who's there..." she looked left and right then looked down.

"A baby? I wonder whose baby this is... oh, fancy clothes..."

She grabbed the baby as he smiled at her.

"Oh, so cute! Ok, I will keep you. From now on, you will be Jack Amber, and I'm your mother, Jillian Amber, your official mother."

12 YEARS LATER

"Wake up! We have to go to the market," said Jillian.

When Jack finally grew up, he still couldn't speak, but he could realize something. His senses were three times better than anyone else's, and he knew the value of things. At the age of 4, he was trained by a bandit and learned a language called Thieves' Sign. Eventually, he developed his own sign language. The bandit treated him as a brain and began to form a faction. Jillian was mad at her boyfriend, Bryan, for the idea of a faction, so she tried to hide it from the bandits.

At the age of 7, Jack could appraise everything he saw, and he could tell when people were lying or telling the truth. He kept these abilities hidden as a sign of being smart, adapting to Jillian. He was inspired by his mother's favorite book, "The Dragon Highlord vs. Tiamat the 7-Headed Dragon."

At the age of 12, he ventured outside of his home.

"Jack, Goodmorni-! Jack!?" Jillian saw the note but didn't understand what it said. She went to the bandit hideout and found Bryan to help decipher the message.

"Bryan? Bryan... Bryan!" She shouted at the bandit's hideout.

"Jillian... What?" He asked, and Jillian handed the note to him.

"Can you read it?" Bryan read the letter.

"It's gibberish... who wrote it?" He asked.

"Jack..." she said. Bryan analyzed the letter until he got an idea.

"Ohhh... I see a Thieves' Sign gesture." Bryan copied the gesture, and in the end, he summoned a fog cloud.

Meanwhile, with Jack, the boy named Blizz was singing while traveling as a companion of Jack.

"Let's keep walking! Let's keep walking!"

FLASHBACK

Jack was in a deep sleep in his room when someone opened his window. He noticed a bandit who was not from his town.

"Sorry for the intrusion... By the way, my name is Blizz Miniponpon, at your service." He bowed in front of Jack while trying to steal an item.

"My name is Jack Amber, and why are you here?" said Jack while using Thieves' Sign. Blizz was shocked.

[He is also a bandit?]

"Nothing..." Blizz jumped out of the window immediately.

"Yahoo!!! gulugulu!" he shouted while parkouring on the houses, but Jack followed him.

END OF FLASHBACK

"So Jack... Why did you become a bandit?" Blizz asked.

"I'm not a bandit; my father, Bryan, taught me this language just to have a conversation with him. I just can't speak, but I can hear," said Jack using Thieves' Sign.

"Good to know... Again, let me introduce myself." Blizz cleared his throat as he said, "My name is Blizz Miniponpon, a Rogue Magician. I can cast any element but master none. How about you?"

"My name is Jack Amber, a commoner. I'm good at trading stuff, so I'm a Jack of all Trades, master of none," replied Jack in sign.

Blizz reacted to Jack, [I hit the jackpot].

"I can read emotions too... at first, I saw you frightened, and now you are so happy. I think you are lonely because you don't have a companion," he said while using sign, then he hugged him.

"What a blizzful day... So? Where do you want to go?" Blizz asked.

"The Great Green Mount Chocobloom," said Jack in sign.

"Where the folklore starts? Ok! We will go to that mountain. Do you know the way?" asked Blizz, excited.

"No," replied Jack in sign.

"Ok! Let's go on our new random adventure! Let fate begin!" Blizz excitedly said while singing.

While walking, they saw an Orc being beaten up by three guards.

"What a weak orc!" the guards laughed.

"Wind arrow," Blizz used a sign to cast a magic spell.

FSSSSSSSSS

"Wind arrow," Jack was amazed and copied Blizz's ability.

FSSSSSSSSS

Two guards were blown away by the arrow and knocked out.

The Orc stood up and cast an illusion spell.

"Summon," the Orc spoke in a fake accent, trying to intimidate the guards.

The Orc summoned an illusion of a scary beast that lasted for 7 seconds.

The guards fainted in fear when they saw the giant beast.

(Blizz looted the two guards and received 400 gold and one rare unknown scroll)

The Orc joined Jack's party.

"Yellow there! Why are the friends from the town?" Blizz asked, trying to make a joke from the orc.

"...I know how to speak the common language," said the orc, annoyed.

"Oh? But do you know how to do the thieves' sign?" Jack looked at the orc with a grin.

"No... By the way, I am Proteum Redwallow, and I'm a Shaman Apprentice. I can do illusion and healing magic."

The trio continued their journey towards the Great Green Mount Chocobloom, their newfound companion Proteum by their side.
