MOVING PIECES 5 [VIII] (Ch. 99)

Raven exits the car, before him is an open field with acres of land sprout with green grass, on the other end of roughly three hundred meters in distance is Leonardo, 

"You want to do this again?",

"My pride wouldn't let me have it any other way, rest assured, win or lose, the girl will be released unharmed",

"Bullshit!, not while she's in that bastards hands",

"She isn't" Leonardo replies, "shouldn't you be more focused on surviving?" He glared his pseudo Domain enacting, without pause two gauntlets conceptualised as 'Force' wove around his fist then up his arms and finally to his elbows, Raven answered in kind, his Force arts burst into ignition in Combinations, his Enforcer and Defense empowered first, Leonardo's blow forces him almost to his knees, Raven tilts the impact point by leaning slightly the using the force to spin into a kick, Leonardo takes the hit opting to reply with a fist in reply, Raven grins hus teeth willing away the pain,

"We don't have to fight" he begins, 

"You talk too much" He replies blurring to Raven's left before laying a fist to his kidney, Raven blocks on instinct as he's blown aside,

"Bring it out!" Leonardo roars pressing on, his domain pulling apart Raven's 'Force' arts, Raven meets Leonardo with his Striker, both have their jaws snap back as they stagger, Raven only remaining barely consious as his body existed at the ZONE advancement, Raven wills away the entity trying to pull i self into control rolling aside to give himself time to force himself into full control,

"WHAT'S MORE IMPORTANT!, GETTING A FOOTHOLD IN UWA OR SOOTHING YOU'RE FOOLISH PRIDE!" Raven roars, Leonardo ignores tensing to burst,

(It doesn't make sense, how can his body have advanced but he's unable not exhibit his advancement?) He questions internally, (little matter, HE WILL!, HE WILL HELP ME ADVANCE!) Leonardo roars bursting and re appearing to the right of his foe, his gauntlets wrapped in lightning,

{Járngreipr!} Silver exclaims,{DODGE!!!!!!!!}, Before Raven the world seems to slow, with his life on the line even his rowdy neighbor joins hands in assistance and for the bearest of seconds Raven had become one in mind and body, ZONE!, his domain flickered in and out of existence for the bearest of seconds, isolating the strike, redirection, blurring away to the side replying with a hammer to the opponents jaw, the world seemed so slow, and in that second Raven understood, he'd gotten a taste, he could see the addiction, it would aid his future advancements, the world unfroze, he was back, to his left his opponents strike had ravaged and sundered the land,

(If that had hit me...) He pondered, {Death} Silver replies, 

(That wasn't even one fifth of it's power was it?), In the moment of achieving ZONE he'd felt it, being one with the world, existence in it's entirety, 

{that's correct, to be honest that wasn't even the artifact, not exactly, one must be have advanced to ZONE to truly wield an artifact, especially one so powerful, he simply drew on it's power at a cost of course},

(What?!) Raven inquires appalled,

{this is one of the stronger artifacts, wielded by one the first shifters, the ones who dubbed themselves gods, the one who proclaimed himself lord over thunder, THOR!}.

Raven turns to face his opponent in astonishment, before him lay Leonardo wide eyed, the beast of a human rises to his feet, his Herculean frame towering Raven's, 

"What are you?" He questions, "you advanced, but you're back where you were, how?",

"That's not your concern, that rat plans to betray you" Raven replies,

"And why am i to believe you?",

"Why?, Because this" Raven replies tossing his phone to Leonardo, the latter takes a glance at the information on the screen with widened eyes,

(HOW!, Do we have a mole?, One of the other six?!, Their helpers?, HOw?!...),

"Suprised?, That rat already has you replaced..." Raven states with a pause allowing the declaration sink in, "one of your six colleagues has decided there's more to be gained working directly with the force behind the bastard" Raven states, "they could remove you lot whenever they see fit, your only use to the bastard and his backers is to achieve their goals, you will! Be disposed of in due time" Raven declares as the gears in Leonardo's head spin rapidly, 

{I'm impressed} Silver states through telepathy, {you actually have him believing you're not the one controling the mole},

(I'm not though), Raven grins internally, (My mother is, i don't know what her deal with the Russians is but their alliance plays to my advantage), after minutes of deafening silence Leonardo speaks, 

"I take it you want something, what is it you seek to achieve with this?",

Raven grins, 

"Here's the deal...".

"I see, so the other two factions have decided to move, this aids our case, i'll get in contact with him" Darwin states,

"No, i have someone else who will, for now you need to lay low, play your role, get him to the agreed location...and keep an eye out for 'him'" Duke replies before dropping the line, he turns to Konan with a look,

"You're up".

Konan and Maya make their way through the streets of Novy prague with inconspicuous clothes and thick disguises, eventually they arrive before a small restaurant, the two step in quickly surveying the area, at the far end of the restaurant in his infamous all black attire was the target, the Cerberus himself, Daryun Won, the two make their way to him taking a seat, before any of the two can speak he does,

"What are you doing here" he questions, instinctively the two know who the question is to, 

"Daryun" Maya calls, "Wh...",

"Leave" he interjects, "you should not have brought her here, you think her presence will make me agree to any bullshit you have planned?" He questions turning to Konan, 

"She insisted on coming, her presence here makes no difference", Daryun maintains silence while staring, Konan matches he's stare, 

"Say whatever bullshit you have to say so i can be on my way",

"Bullshit?" Konan smiles, "i think not, your mother, help us and we'll help her",

Daryun's grip shatters the cup withing his grip,

"Be very...very careful what you say next, i don't take kindly to stupid jokes",

"We're serious Daryun" Maya replies, 

"Here" Konan follows handing him a folder, Daryun takes it flipping through the contents of the document within, a quick survey latter his grip on the document tightens as his breathing wavers, 

"I..s...this real?",

"On my life" Konan replies, 

"What's the deal?" Daryun questions,

(He bites!) Konan grins

With their deal concluded and and an agreement agreed upon Raven makes his way towards Jimmy's revealed location, 

"Lets see how you do when you won't be expecting me you bastard" Raven grins malevolently, he minimises his presence as he enters the warehouse, the guards at the doors letting him pass on Leonardo's orders, Raven knocks the unit gate leisurely, Jimmy turns to his protector with a nod, she turns the lever pulling it upward, the mechanical gate slowly draws upward and once said gate is four feet off the floor Raven ignites his Pseudo Domain as he blurs crashing his heel into Jimmy's plexus shattering his entire rib cage, Jimmy's protector moves fast  empowering her pseudo domain and striking, Raven still heightened by his previous fight mimicking James from memory as he wraps his arm in spinning force in order to copy his force arts, the fully covered woman in blacks kick is repelled back, Raven steps forward blurring with a bang as he crashes his fist against her guard, Shifter or not at their similar advancement Raven holds the physical advantage as a man, but his mastery would be his undoing, Her domain compresses to her frame becoming second skin, a blur to fast to see and a whipped kick to his kidney and Raven found himself crashing through the reinforced concrete wall, The lady wastes no time grabbing Jimmy who's barely alive and making haste in escape, Raven forcing himself though the pain bursts through the wall a fraction of a second later to find his targets escaped, he turns around in search sighing in relief when he spots Laura unconscious but unharmed,

"It would seem that insane bastard is somewhat trust worthy" he murmurs picking the unconscious girl up as he ignites his Enforcer technique, a piece of paper catches his eye from the rooms corner, Jimmy's last position, Raven drops Laura aside momentarily, he makes his way there picking the paper up, a quick survey over it's contents and he rips it apart, Raven picks Laura once more as he blurs into the nights blanket.
