DIVIDE AND CONQUER I (Ch. 57)

Nathan packs the last of his bags  before exiting after Warden and Elaine, Warden flags down a cab while Elaine takes care of Yerin, taking another glance at the apartment he'd called his home for almost two years he shelfs the running toughts aside while deciding to first handle the matter at hand, Oren Wayne.

   Jaime stares at Saiyan high with an infallible grin, a bounce present in his step as he struts through the schools main doors, blending into the school seemlesly  he wonders about inciting rumors, the question is, 'who's the strongest fighter?', heading over to the mebs restroom he ponders over hisvnext course of action,

"You really thought wearing our uniform would make you blend in?, I could recognize your ugly mug from miles away" Konan states,

"You must have quite a bit if confidence being here, is it because you're on home turf or because you're delusional enough to think you can take me?" Jaime inquires,

"Both", Jaime chuckles before zipping his fly and shooting a snap kick, Konan falls back letting it fly past him to which Jaime snorts, 

"You overestimate yourself Konan Meryin"

"That maybe so but that doesn't change the fact that it's well within my abilities to defeat you",

"We'll see about that, our battle is one of wits not fists, i'm done with your school for now, after-all the last candidate to analyse is....."

    James walks down the street with his school bag reminiscent of a laptop bag in hand, taking a turn leading towards central district to get a cheap cab home, with his bike gone he'd need a few months of saving to get another, he comes to a halt before him are two teens, one with red hair obviously dyed the other with a head if rapidly Balding hair, 

(They knew I'd be here, i'm being targeted), James pulls out a gun freezing the two in their tracks the balding teen quakes in his boots while the red head watches alertly contemplating what to do, 

(I'm a Shifter!, i can do this, i'll attack before her reacts!), Springing into action Randis' frame blurs with his fist inches from James's face,

(Shifter?!) James strains his muscles twisting his neck in an owl like manner, he twists his body simultaneously before crashing his fist into Randis, the other follows up and James recenters the gun causing him to freeze again, waisting no time his frame blurs with his fist almost shattering the boy's jaw, Randis recovers quick his punch to close for James to dodge forcing him into a gaurd James leans away with the force but Randis follows in close giving no space for him to shoot, 

(Analysis complete), James steamingly stumbles back causing Randis to pounce, his fist is met with James's feet when stalling him long enough for James's gun to find target, Randis freezes when James flips the gun into mid air before smashing his fist into his nose, Randis retreats but James crashes his fist into his gaurd breaking his arm, Randis screans his forearm quickly swelling as he gives a lack luster kick with his leg, Randis 'dodges' another punch from James recoils as the Force around his fist repels him, he thumps against the dirt when another punch from James sends him unconscious,

(I hope they don't have permanent injuries, i did hold back quite a bit) he ponders exhaling as Steam exists his pharynx, James crouches near the two straightening them out before taking pictures of the two, dialing his homes line Roger picks it up,

"Young master, how may i help you?"

"Dad is investigating the teenage gang issue right"

"He is"

"Help me find out everything you can on this two individuals, i'll leave it to your discretion to decide if or not it's important enough to report"

"Very well young master"

     Konan ponders on his next move on his way down the hall missing the person before him as they collide, 

"Sorry about that" a girl calls as she rushes to pack tge scattered books on the floor, 

"No don't mention it, it's my fault, i wasn't paying attention" he replies assisting her with her books before handing them to her, Konan Recoils with pleasant surprise now having taken a good look at her as the girls whites beam in thanks and her eyes crinkle with her smile behind her glasses frames,

"I...what class are you in?" He inquires

"Oh I'm in classss...." She draws unsure of herself as she searches through the books, "Oh no, i think i lost it!" She exclaims

"Lost what?"

"My information slip!"

"You're a new transfer?"

"Yeah yeah" she replies absent-mindedly as she searches the surrounding area for the slip,

"Let me help out"

"No don't worry about it i'll just have to get another one from the councilor's office"

"I'll go with you then" Konan replies as the two make their way there, "By the way what's your name?"

"Anna" 

"That's a nice name I'm Konan"

"Like the detective?" She chuckles causing him to smile

"I'm even better" he states, 

"I'm sure you are" she mocks as the two laugh, they eventually arrive at the office, Konan waits outside for Anna perking up as she exits, 

"So what class are you in"

"The modeling department" sge replies

"Oh, i have quite a number of friends there"

"Aren't you mister popular, it'd be nice if you could introduce me" she replies, the two eventually arrive at the class and though it's class period the teacher seems to be absent,

"Konan hey, who's she?" Mari inquires still seated next to the gang, 

"She's a new transfer, Anna this are the guys, Mari, Laura, Kaytlin, Maya, Amy, Jay, Raven and James" Konan states, "guys, this is Anna" he concludes allowing the girls to mingle as Jay drags him away, 

"You sly dog!, I was convinced you where gay for a while there" Jay grins,

"I'm not, and what's wrong with that?"

"Who cares?" Jay states, "it just struck me as weird you never made a move on her"

"Who?"

"Mari"

"Please, I'd rather not date a girl that can snap me in half"

"Even if she's arguably the hottest girl in school?"

"... where just not like that okay?" Konan replies

"Why not?, Is Dennis the problem?, I know for sure she's like his sister, as long as you don't make the poor girl sad you'll be fine, or are you more interested in the new girl?"

"Just stop!, What are you even saying?, I'm just helping her out, she's nice company and if anything thing between Mari and i I'd be the one left crying"

"True" Jay nods, "she's hot as hell but tough as nails" he state

"Just leave the poor guy alone" Raven interjects, "you should follow your heart"

"Says our friendly neighborhood playboy"

"You both have problems, please stay away from Yanick i don't need you two influencing the young man" Konan deadpans

   "So you're from Belgrade?" Laura inquires 

"Yeah, I'm actually still heading there, i've got alot i need to transport to my apartment over here"

"Seems like alot of work" Maya replies

"It is, at least i'll be able to tske a break on the beach again"

"Beach?" Laura perks up

"Yeah our house is pretty close to the beach"

"I could use a trip to the beach myself" Kaytlin mumbles,

"Right?, This heat wave has been killing me" Mari states,

"Why not come with?, My house is pretty big enough for all of us, tge guys included" Anna replies

"Well I don't mind if i do" Mari says

"What about school?" Maya states with concern

"Does it matter?, As long as we're back before the next general assessment and keep our grades up the school doesn't care if we're absent" Laura replies, 

"Alright then it's settled!, We're going on a trip!" Amy exclaims with joy

"Let's get the guys to come with" Maya states looking to Jay,

"Yeah" Mari mumbles with her gaze on Konan, the group finalise the details with Yanick eventually coming along as the get ready and converge at the train station a day later, the train arrives and the board in order with Konan and Anna taking a pair to the left Raven and Jay the pair to the right with Amy Laura Maya and Kaytlin takin the next row behind with Yanick, James Dennis and Mari taking the last row behind.

"Let's get this trip on the road!" Amy shouts exitedly as the train begins it's journey.
