CHAPTER 29: Into the Unknown.
KILLER ACADEMY -EMPTY CLASSROOM.
"Neither of you remember anything?" Batuhan said as he looked at Aleena and Jun , who could not remember anything except that Samuel left them alone outside the academy.
Aleena and Jun shook their heads as they sat on the benches with sandwhiches in their hands and water bottles to quench the long thirst they had suffered from.
"There goes that lead." Samuel looked at Zakiyye who held his chin in a thoughtful manner.
"Thats alright, we still have plenty...is everyone here?" Zakiyye said as he looked around.
"Zahhak!!!" Aleena cried out, "What are you doing here?! Wait what is going on.." Aleena who had finally regained stability stared wide eyed at her BlackWing brother standing there casually with someone whom she thought she had never met before.
"Hahaha...Hi again sis." Zahhak waved at her with a chuckle. He seemed to feel a bit easier now that his sister was released.
Jun also looked up in disbelief.
"Looks like we forgot quite alot..." Jun said.
"Oh you have no idea.." Noir shook his head.
"Did he just call you sister Aleena!?" Bow said pointing towards Zahhak.
"Yes...He is my little brother.." Aleena said still staring at Zahhak.
"Just what is going on today!!?" Batuhan cried out.
"That is not important right now , I have information to give...we don't have much time so recover as quickly as you may."
Zakiyye's words were sharp and undeniable and they got everyone to regain focus.
He snapped his fingers and his book floated out of its belt . It lay open infront of Zakiyye while surfing in the air. Zakiyye's eyes turned glowing red, he waved his hand over the book and scribbles appeared on the blank pages.
"As I suspected." Zakiyye said as his hair floated and his red eyes grew sharper.
Without a word he pointed outwards ,behind him, towards the door, while still facing the book.
Ethan who was carefully peeking through a gap in the door caught on and turned to run but was stopped in tracks by Zahhak and Noir who appeared out of thin air and surrounded him.
Ethan bumped into Zahhak and fell on the floorafter which he felt a strike after which he lost conciousness.
TIME UNKNOWN
"Uhh..." Ethan muttered as he opened his eyes , he found himself in a dimly lit small room with a single yellow bulb emanating rays of light. There was food and water on a wooden table next to the chair he was sitting in.
Ethan walked up to it and saw a note placed there aswell.
'THANKYOU FOR YOUR INFORMATION!PLEASE ENJOY THIS LIGHT MEAL AND YOUR STAY. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ESCAPE THIS ROOM SO DON'T TRY. IF WE ARE ABLE TO WIN THE DEAL THEN WE WILL COME FOR YOU IN THREE DAYS,OTHERWISE YOUR STAY WILL BE INDEFINITE AS WE WILL NOT BE AROUND TO HELP YOU ,

Ethan stood there silent as a fly sat on his sandwhich and stared at the note .
"WHAT!!!!????"

AFTERNOON-OUTSIDE ACADEMY DORMS.
"To think you had such tricks up your sleeve.." Samuel and Noir looked at Zakiyye as they walked on the pavement leading to the boys dorms.
"Being able to draw information from someone's recent memories...it has its pros and cons though. Cant go too far. For a Yosei this is just child's play." Zakiyye replied.
"But that's not it you can even-" Samuel was cut short by Zakiyye.
"You do realize there is someone else here." Zakiyye pointed at Noir.
"Who me? Haha...I wouldn't hurt a fly." Noir said with a smile that obviously meant he was lying.
"You are part of the team that we will go up against in the tournament aren't you?" Zakiyye said.
" So you read my mind aswell huh...when did you do that?" Noir stopped and so did the rest.
"Early enough to know you would take our side if released." Zakiyye said with a sheepish smile that was a rarity for his face.
"You have been spying on everyone since the principal's office!?" Samuel was both impressed and afraid.
"If I hadn't we wouldn't have caught this huge lead. So thank me. Better yet . BOW to me." Zakiyye replied to Samuel.
"But to think...Lute had been using Ethan to have us kicked out...." Samuel said in a thoughtful manner.
"Lute...." Zakiyye said with a grim look ,"is in the records of the lost students we found in the principal's office."
"What....then who ...." Samuel stared wide-eyed at Zakiyye.
"My My...." Noir too , was taken aback by the sudden turn of events.
"So get that sword ready.....we are about to face an unknown enemy."
Zakiyye said , as he stopped to look at the dorms infront of him, the location they derived from Ethan's memories.

HOSPITAL-KILLER ACADEMY TERRITORY
"Well this is the room....." Aleena said as she searched around the room with Jun and Zahhak.
"Looks spotless ...." she continued , " The staff says there was never a patient here...nor was there any young lady doctor on night shift that night." She looked at Jun who was standing at the door with eyes closed.
"Jun?" Aleena said as she and Zahhak looked at him.
Jun let out a breath , his senses grew sharper, his mind cancelled out Aleena and Zahhak , replacing them with red glowing footsteps that stepped across the room, as he traced those footsteps , flashes of the event that went on in the room came to his mind. Josh trying to save a hanging man only to be caught by him instead. He stepped towards the wall, touched it where Michelle impacted. He turned around and saw steps leading towards the center of the room . He stood where Michelle and Noel stood for the last time , carrying Josh and activated gleam. He opened his eyes.
Aleena and Zahhak were standing together staring at him with the same look.
"Pfft.."Jun chuckled after seeing their bewildered expressions, "You two really are brother and sister."
"Uhh..." Aleena and Zahhak gave a confused smile.
"I know what happened here..." Jun said and explained what he saw to Aleena and Zahhak.
" I am impressed...since when did your instincts improve this much?" Aleena said as Jun finished.
"My senses got sharper the moment I stepped in this world....."
"How to proceed from here on is the question..."
"Even if we try to infiltrate Yosei territory...finding Josh would be like looking for a drop in an ocean."
"We need someone with a talent in searching and is able to move in and out of Yosei land freely...."
"Are we at a standstill..."
"Can I count on you ? " Zahhak whispered , to someone or something , a spider on his shoulder, and then smiled , as if he had received an answer.
"Leave bringing back Josh to me , Jun I would like you to accompany me since I cannot recognize him."
"Do you have a way?" Jun said.
Zahhak stepped towards him and they stood face to face at the center of the room.
Suddenly , a green light surrounded them and they disappeared , leaving behind Aleena still trying to figure out what she just witnessed.
