After that, no one moved or said a word. It seemed as if Katherine was not the only one who was absolutely enraptured by Charles and his words of affection towards her.
"Do you need anything else from us?" Charles asked, breaking the silence.
While some of the crew continued to stare dumbfoundedly at Charles, most of the crew turned to look at Marcus for an answer to the question. Marcus stood there with his hand on his chin and a poker face that was more than difficult to read as his eyes peered into the couple. It made Katherine's stomach flip because it made her doubt for a split second that she and Charles had been convincing enough.
