Kaize stood smilingly next to Khalifa, who looked very excited, and began to explain the guns lined up in front of them.
"Most of the firearms I chose were the types more convenient to bring than others. In the apocalypse, I mean."
They were now in an outdoor shooting range they arranged on the island. It was located on relatively flat grounds, far from the villa and where the construction was ongoing.
They didn't wear plugs or safety glasses and chose models that did not make noise or had a strong recoil.
Who could use protective equipment in the apocalypse, after all. It was better to get used to it earlier.
They chose guns with light bodies, less recoil, and barely any noise like the Ruger rifle 10/22 takedown—a lightweight and compact .22 caliber rifle with quiet and minimal recoil.
There was also the Glock 17 which had a great balance of firepower and capability.
