Months passed and Khalifa entered her 2nd trimester. Similarly, Claire entered her 3rd.
The two pregnant women were incredibly doted on, loved and taken care of by the whole island. Sometimes, they had to shoo people away so they didn't feel like they were invalids.
"Are they all like this?" Helen asked, surprised at the doting. At this time, she was looking at Khalifa who had just received her bowl of ice cream a second after she asked for it.
"Ah, well, it's their way to calm themselves," Khalifa just smiled and looked at her former PE teacher.
Just today, Helen was shipped in.
There was not much explanation because it was all so rushed, so they thought she could've been bitten and went to them as a last resort.
